Had an Alien on my last bike and love it. I bought this one because of the color and weight let alone it was on $28 bucks for the blue. Now because of the design change that they made from two bolts to a single small hex head bolt I cannot attest to the quality or longevity of this product. Also it was a bit tricky to install since it did not align quite well with the bars on the seat, would have been much easier with two people but why should you need two people to install this. Hopefully the single bolt won't be a problem, so overall I like it and I couldn't beat the price.

Excellent seat post, great design
This thing weighs nothing! It's feather light and the anodising is very high quality, it looks great! While a few have complained about the seat clamp design I actually really like it, it's a true set and forget , holds solidly and seems very little chance that it might rattle itself loose at some point, I'm not sure I'd pay $109 for it (red , black, silver) but $20 for the blue one is one hell of a bargain!! Plus it matches my bike anyway ;)
