KingPad K77 7-Inch 8GB Tablet PC

We purchased 2 of these for our kids for Christmas. For $60 I did not necessarily have super high expectations, but still expected a better tablet than we received. We bought them on black Friday and thought we were getting a deal as the list price says $139.99, but I came to find out this is the normal price and we did not receive any kind of deal as the price still remains the same today. First off, it is not really a kids tablet. It is just a cheap tablet that comes with a removable rubber case. There is no parental controls on it, so do not expect to your kid to have access to the tablet without a 3rd party app! These apps allow you to control the content they have access to, but the downfall is you have to log into it every time they want to use their tablet. If they pick up the tablet and decide to turn it on the world and all that comes with it is at the tips of their fingers which is a little scary. The android version that comes with this tablet has an internet search bar on the home page that can not be removed as well! The browser app can not be deleted either! So if you are hoping to have a tablet your kids can charge and play as they please as we were hoping, this is not a good option.Now on to some of the quality issues. This thing has the worst battery life ever! The tablet is slow and it freezes all of the time. It has a very hard time booting apps. The kids keep downloading games and have to try to boot the app upwards of 10 times before they get it to run properly. Then if you get the app to run you better cross your fingers it keeps running! Sometimes it just shuts down the app and brings you to the home screen. Beings this was happening with multiple apps, I feel it is safe to assume it is an issue with the tablets ram and processing speed. I do like the fact the tablet has 2 charging options. It has a usb 2.0 as well as an ac adapter. That was about the only positive thing with this tablet although the ac adapter is very skinny and does not plug into the tablet very securely. It plugs in about half way and feels like one little tug in the wrong direction and it's toast! After a week we started to have problems getting the charger plugged into the tablet as well. As if something moved internally and was not letting us plug it in. After a long inspection and a little extra force we finally got it back in there to charge it. We also had problems with the apps staying organized. My son turned off his tablet and when he turned it back on all the apps were scattered everywhere! Then a couple days later, half of them disappeared! They were still installed according to the Google play store and the internal memory, but they were nowhere to be found! Only way we could get them to come back was by opening the app through the Google play store as if we just downloaded it. Typically the play store will ask you if you want to open the file once it is finished downloading. It was quite a strange experience! So he got to play with it about 2 more weeks and now it just doesn't work at all. We turn it on and it just keeps turning off randomly. Sometimes in boot and sometimes we can get it to boot then it turns off shortly after. I got it to factory reset finally, but the problem still remains. The battery is charged, I can assure you that is not the issue!So in conclusion one of them is still kicking, but the second one is pretty much a paper weight within a month of ownership. The one that is working still has its issues, but is still functioning as of now. I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially for kids! I bought them a month before Christmas, so I am kind of under the assumption I can not send it back although I have not checked with the seller. I am not really upset with my sellers performance, but the quality of the product which is why I am here to warn the rest of you of my experience with this product. Hope that helps!

The tablet worked great but the face was a scratched up, and there was a Crack in the corner. It looked like it had been used, and I bought it as a new product. I was really disappointed because I bought it as a gift for my grandson, and I didn't inspect it before I gave it to him. He was upset that I had to send it back. Amazon made it right for me and I bought him a new tablet. I only gave it 3 stars because I was happy that Amazon made everything right even though I was 5 days beyond my 30 day return time.

well i purchased this like maybe 2 weeks ago for my son. When i first opened it and tried getting it all set up it kept saying the play store was not responding so i clicked on play store it worked .. even though it constantly popped up saying it was not responding {few times shut down} so downloaded some games and it worked so i went to search a app and again it said play store is not responding and shut down. So i tried again and again and it kept doing this only when i would try and search something but it would let me let me if i did not search anything so i let that slide. then at one point it would not turn on at all even after charged. So then I wrote he place it came from and no response so i said screw it and tried it again and it turned back on my son was happy watching his shows etc... well 2 days ago it would not turn on again and still will not until this day so no i will not be buying one of these AGAIN. No response and a tablet that has acted up since i purchased it. and yes i updated all apps and so on, charged it etc and now it just stays on the loading screen. so am now in search of a better tablet for my son ... one that works atleast.

I needed to buy an inexpensive tablet for my 4 year old so this caught my eye. I didn't expect the world at this price point, but most of the reviews were generally favorable. However, take a closer look and you'll see no one praises the battery life. In fact, most poor reviews were related to the battery. My review is no exception. I had the tablet for a few days and had no issues with speed or responsiveness to using multiple apps. I followed the instructions for battery charging and it seemed okay for close to an hour before battery life plummeted from there. Don't expect to get more than 60-90 minutes without reaching for your charger again. Returned the tablet for something different.

Not a bad tablet for a 3 year old. The back where the battery is gets really hot, even with the provided case. However the battery life is horrible. After about 3 hours it's dead and needs to charge again, even after following the directions in the manual.

I got this tablet for my kids for Christmas. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the packing was rather poor but the product thank goodness was not damaged. It takes forever to start up, forever to charge the battery. The battery life on this thing is so bad. My kids can just be watching a movie and the battery will last from 1 hr to maybe if your lucky 2. After having for about 4 months the touch screen just quit working, wouldn't do anything. You cant reboot it, stuck on the lock screen. My kids are easy on their toys and really good about taking care of tablets, this was not dropped, was not damaged with water or food. I went out on a whim and bought a bargin tablet and well you get what you pay for.

Bought 3 for my grand children... one spoil within 2 weeks... the cost to ship it back was more than i paid for it,... what was heart rending was the fact that my grandson cannot enjoy it,,, he was very disappointed,,,,,still trying to expain to him how his cousins have tablets and his own is spoilt... wery disappointed with this purchase...the reviews i read were good... nw im seeing very poor reviews... i do not recommend this product

Bought for my grandkids. Have issues within a few months. Didn’t want to hold a charge and stopped working within 10 months. My twin grandkids were a little upset.
