These are very strong, very handy, and very cheap at a bit more than a dime each. You can also link them together to form a bigger loop if needed, as shown with my Doan Magnesium Fire Starter Tool in the pic below.With the expandability options, and being made of steel you can consider these to be like Zip-Ties that don't melt, and could have many uses ranging from emergency car repairs (muffler hanger, throttle cable, etc), to making a snare in a survival situation, or just lashing things down so they don't fly away on you.My only regret is I only bought one pack of 20, now that I know the quality I'll be getting some more.

I've used one for a few weeks now. The thing that works for me that others have not noted is the difference between the cable and a traditional steel key ring. Two of the keys on my ring are large car keys with transmitters. On a traditional ring, they stick out because the ring doesn't flex. On the cable ring, they fold more compactly because the cable is smaller and it flexes. Cool.

These are amazing: I just bought 80 more...yes 80. These are about the circular size that your index and thumb makes when you do the "ok" sign. I'm putting together fire starter kits and I'm using these as the connector system. So planning for the future, I decided to get 80 more...I just know I'll find many more uses for these little gems. I am extremely confident you would too. Definitely a "two thumbs up" and an "ok" to boot!!!

I really really love these things. Price is great. They certainly make your keys fit "flatter" in your pocket. I like the ability to add keys etc. without having to break my fingernails. It would take some serious force to break the cable which is great. There is one MAJOR problem however.The mechanism that screws the ends together become lose really quickly and will thus drop your keys everywhere. This flaw is for obvious reasons a huge issue. I constantly have to check to make sure it is tight and eventually had to move back to the keyring as it was not worth the risk of losing my keys. I may try loc-tite blue to keep it together but I haven't experimented yet so I can't comment on that.Overall these could be great but this flaw MUST be fixed.

Stainless Steel wire, and connectors appear to be good quality. Links thread easily. I do an extra twist to ensure it stays connected. I have thought about using a little threadlock to give it extra adhesive/for staying together. Haven't needed, but one could use for piece of mind, such as when using it as a luggage tag going thru airports.... and you don't want to risk it coming undone.

Can't really complain for the price - but don't rely on these for anything critical. Several had poor threads but are usable and 2 of the 20 had the ends so poorly crimped that they will not fit in the threaded sleeve rendering them useless.

I used this for my keys. It held a good amount of keys, a multitool, and a ton of random keychains. While it has held up for me, I have a few issues with it.Pros:- Sturdy enough for light everyday use.- Clasp works.- Inexpensive.Cons:- It was thinner than I thought it would be. Started to fray in some areas.- Easily bent. The one I use for my keys isn't a circle shape anymore, it's more of an eye shape that I can't really bend back.- Took a long time to get it.If you plan on getting this for your keys, I highly suggest getting a steel wire that's a little more thicker.

These are the best keychains I've ever owned. Lifespan is about 3 years of everyday use and then they start to fray. Very affordable and heavy duty. Highly recommended. Easy to fasten and unfasten. I have never had the keychain twist off inadvertently which is clutch. 5/5
