Tattoo: Bodies, Art, and Exchange in the Pacific and the West - History of Tatooing Paperback – March 23, 2005

Gift for my fiancé who is really into both history (the more obscure the better) and tattoos/art in general. He was in love with; this. It is a LOT of history, though, that I personally consider a bit tedious. Don't get me wrong, it's incredibly informative and the author clearly did their research. The images are super cool, but if you're looking for a book with more modern/up to date images and information, this particular bit of literature can be slow reading for some.

Load of crap only a hand full off pictures bought as I thought I was going to get tattoo ideas but sadly no but if you won't the history off these tattoos may be this book is for you!
