The quality of the boards is very good, they are textured which seems to resist scratching, the metal handle makes them easy to lift out, and they stack neatly inside the case, so look good on the counter top rather than falling over. **Q: Is the case easy to clean?**
A: It is. I wipe it down with anti back during my cleaning & put them in the dishwasher when they've been used.

**Q: Can the boards be put in the dishwasher?**
A: One of ours emerged from the dishwasher warped today. Won’t lay flat. Manufacturer says dishwasher-safe, so this was unexpected for something so expensive.

**Q: Is the material non toxic?**
A: Depends on what you do with it.

**Q: What is the overall size of the item when not in use?**
A: 34L x 24W x 7.6Th centimetres
All measurements are in cm 
It takes up very little room
