Backun Clarinet Bell, 6LBCVG, Cocobolo, Traditional, with Voicing Groove

I like it, but, I'm not sure that the difference is significant. I plan to continue to use it..many thanks for a good product.I had to sand down the lower section on my 'Custom Yamaha'..both Bb & A Clarinet...did not have to alter the bottom joint of my 'Symphonie LeBlanc' (Bb Model). This one fit perfectly.

Fits both my vintage Buffet B-flat and A perfectly (B-flat is a 1981 R-13, A is over 100 years old; pre-R13 from 1904–06). Evens out the break, and provides significantly better voicing and support on clarion B and C. I have had to change my throat tone resonance fingerings using this and a Backun Fatboy Barrel, but the new fingerings are just as convenient and have even better tone.

Make a big difference. Definitely changed the sound and intonation in a good way.

I liked how it looked but sadly it didn't fit my Leblanc 1189s

This does not fit my 2013 Buffet R13. The bell slides onto the R13 just fine but then bottoms out with a 3mm gap exposing the tenon. I cant figure out why this is, as the length of the bottom joint tenon is shorter then the rim depth on the inside of the bell. The product description say this bell is "Diameter 26.17mm, Depth 20.08mm" the tenon on my R13 is exactly 20mm. I checked the diameter with a gauge of the cork on the lower joint of the R13 and it is not thicker at the point of the stop so removing cork is not the answer. I unfortunately do not have the proper gauge to accurately measure inside the bell to see if there is a taper. The bell itself is beautiful with no blemishes. The box advises it is from a Conn-Selmer distributor.

Didn't fit my Buffet E-11 or my friend's R-13 despite the fact we measured our clarinets before we ordered (we've both been playing well over 13 years, so we knew what we were doing). Neither of our corks are super thick, so unfortunately, getting those whittled down won't help. Nice looking bell, but I can't use it.

Great bell! It improves tuning and fits perfect in my yamaha ycl 650. And it also looks very nice!
