Not too impressed with the poaching or omelette function but it was boiled eggs I wanted it for, so no problem. I find it easy and quick. Uses less energy than boiling a small saucepan of water. I experimented a bit, using a clock/timer and find it gives a decent soft/medium 'boiled' egg after 7-8 minutes, from taking it out of the fridge. Hard boiled in 11 minutes.
