Chef Jacket (Four-Star)

The Good: The coat has a very nice fit and was exactly what I was looking for in a chef coat. I wanted a slim fit - not baggy or too large in the arms - afterall this is an executive coat, not a loose working chef coat - and this fit the bill nicely.Since there were no reviews about fit I decided to make this one since I already made a bad purchase with the "Chef Works" coat of similar style. That one is baggy, super wide arm-ed and just awkward.I normally wear a medium dress shirt (15.5) in a slim fit from most clothing stores (BR, Br Bros) 16/35 extra-slim-fit from C Tyrwhitt, and I wanted something slightly bigger to fit over a white undershirt without the neck choking me like cheaper jackets. This was it.The Bad: Quality control is an issue, as a large part of the upper left chest was incompletely stitched leaving a portion of the inner flap loose, with the stray stitching swerving off to the side incorrectly with no purpose except to show that it was a big mistake and that they don't control what comes out of their factory properly.This was for a photo shoot and was needed almost immediately so I was unable to send it for a replacement and had to stitch it back together myself - wasted time and money, and made me question buying from Chefwear again.The Good Again: Amazon made it better by refunding some of my money for the inconvenience. Thanks Amazon, this ensures that I will continue buying from you since you stand behind the customer.
