Harmar Mobility AL 065 Electric Scooter or Wheelchair Lift Power Chair Lift

I use this for occasionally lifting cleaning equipment (150-225lbs) in and out of my van. I choose to keep the three components in my van and only the hitch attachment is left on permanently (not the manufacturers suggested way.) I will agree that the pieces could be awkward to lift/assemble if you have a physical challenge that restricts you. But I do not so its fine for me. It does move slowly but an extra few minutes loading time is more than worth not straining my back.

This unit has a motor that is not rated for outside usage. So it is suggested that it be removed from the car after each use. The thing weighs about as much as my miniscooter as is about as much trouble to reassemble use and disassemble each time as it is to just manually ust lift the scooter into the trunk. This thing needs a motor rated to be outside so it can be left on the back of the car strapped down and not reassembled each time. What a pain. I do not recommend this.

works great if I can get my partner in crime to let me alone with it. I'm about to get it set up so I can operate it. I use it to load and unload a small scooter in my Dodge Journey.
