Watch came in Chinese. But if you go to the home screen, swipe to the left 2x tap the gear symbol which is settings, tap first highlighted which are commons settings, then the 2nd option is language, it will then show you Chinese or English, choose English and it will change the watch to all English. Haven't tried the watch out yet but I noticed no one explained how to fix the language. I will give another review later on how it works.

It works with notifications but not so much with checking texts individually, and my contacts that are synced with my accounts don't show up as contacts on the watch. Also, all calls come identified only by their number, without a contact name.That's arguably the most frustrating feature.The speaker is adequate but isn't very loud, it's not great for quality, but I have used it for playing music while cooking.The battery life is terrible and should only give you a few hours of actual use, but will give you at least 6 hours if you aren't on calls, or listening to music.The metal part on the adjustable strap has popped off a few times, but I was able to easily reattach it. It only pops off if it's aggressively knocked into, so I wouldn't recommend playing sports with it on.If you want a watch that simply shows notifications, and most importantly, tells the time, this is the watch for you.

It finally broke today, it lasted about 2 months for me, wearing it nearly every day in college. The watch gets attention from people thinking it is a more expensive variant; for what it's worth, it does a lot of the same functions. I love being able to read text messages before I open them and answer calls as I am getting it out of my pocket, transferring it to my ear momentarily after. The watch isn't good for music playing or running a call through it for more than a few seconds though, as the audio is terrible; and it also has some weird quirks, as it won't let you read group messages or text people with the watch. A lack of refinement should be expected, as apple charges over twice as much for a silicone iphone case.As long as you keep in mind how cheap this watch is, it is a good product that I would recommend. After soaking my current one at the beach, I ordered another the same night.

This unit has useful functions for my tasks. The remote speaker is fun to also play music to. Imagine stretching on couch / beach and listening to music through watch near your ear. Yes initial menu began in another language, but there is help on web to change it easily. Was packaged well and shipping was good. I now have one of each color. The calculator buttons are big enough I can actually use it. The pedometer has start/stop/and pause, rather cool. The ease to swap clock face of digital to analog by a tap is also cool.

Worst quality, pin that holds the band broke out because the hole was drilled to close to the outside, there was nothing to really hold it......never had the time on display, had to turn the watch on whenever I wanted to check the time. Just a waste of money!

Just OK.....it doesn't stay connected....you have to rest the Bluetooth every time it shuts down.....the message app is a joke.....its a watch that will play music.....with difficulty all the way....

This is a fun toy to play around with. For the price (under $11) I was surprised that it actually works most of the time. Once paired with my smartphone it keeps excellent time... as a watch. By watching reviews on YouTube I was able to set it up fairly easy, but the manual is written in English... and can be followed.The watch often loses connection with my smartphone (Galaxy S6) and has to be reconnected to continue to use. Some of the features work at some times and not at others, It sometimes requires multiple attempts to connect via bluetooth just to fail after a few seconds.I am able to use the same third party apps I had previously installed (Fundo Companion, BT Notification, Mediatek SmartDevice) manually from the Android Playstore. There are many duplicate apps and not all work with this device. Fine tune the settings to get the best out of the device.But the watch battery is very small and needs to be recharged every few hours. The battery is not replaceable so no spare can be used. I charged it fully at night before going to sleep so that it is ready to use in the morning, and carry a recharger with me when I leave home for the day.The watch shows plenty of notifications from the phone (incoming calls, text, e-mail, apps, lost connections, etc.). Just a glance at my wrist and I see who is trying to contact me. I can make and receive phone calls using the watch in speaker mode but privacy is compromised. May be useful while driving or not using my car's bluetooth connection.The appearance is plain and not fancy and the band is not the most comfortable but can be worn all day. I have a fairly large wrist and the band has one notch free. It can be worn by both men and women. The dial face is easy to view, but has no built in camera. The remote camera capture (using the phone's rear camera) is a fun feature.The U8 does not accept a SD or Sim card. It cannot use extra storage or is useable as a standalone cell phone. It may be water resistant but NOT waterproof. Keep it dry.As a novelty toy I give it an overall score of 3 out of 5 stars. If you want a serious smartwatch I'd recommend spending much more than the $10-30 this watch sells for online.

I got this watch for my iPhone 6 Plus , it works well but the only thing is to get text messages you have to down load an app and the only one is one you have to pay for and chance it to work , my husband ended up taking it for his galaxy edge phone and works great . The resolution is not the best but great for the price . He likes it and wares it to work so he can easily check his messages with out digging around for his phone while trying to work . Great over all .

Says comparable with iPhone this not fully true , you can't use all the functions on the iPhone. Great for making phone calls that's it

Love it got it for samsung galaxy edge. Took me a while to find the right bt notifier. Now i get all my notifications i can read them all. Evan get my s fitness notifications. For the price its amazing. Ps i never write reviews, but just had to for this watch

Well worth a tenner only bad thing is battery life doesnt even last a day but fir the money im not complaining
