My 4yr old son is hooked on anything transportation and will play with cars and trucks for hours. This particular software uses trucks, trains, etc. when teaching some of the phonics lessons. This captures my sons' complete attention, and he will play independently while laughing for up to an hour. I routinely check his progress after each play and he consistently has high percentages of correct answers. It has also helped tremendously with his ability to sound out words. I highly recommend this program for any child in preschool through first grade.
