It holds up well under usage, and it provides support and comfort. Review: Thorough Comfort At An Affordable Price! - Makes my old sofa bed feel as comfortable as a regular bed. My son gave this to me as a birthday gift to use in my small pied-à-terre NYC studio apartment. (He probably had an ulterior motive since he and his girlfriend occasionally use the apartment when they come in from out-of-town and mentioned that the old mattress was uncomfortable!) It was delivered free by FedEx within in 9 days coming from California. Since it was vacuum packed, the box was only about 4 feet tall and 1 foot wide (which another reviewer pointed out before I purchased it). My old mattress was 72" x 59". This one is slightly longer than advertised at about 72.5" (which was no problem in fitting my frame since the foam compresses a bit making for a perfect fit) but only 58" wide. However, this 1" difference is not a problem. The small space on the width of the frame is hardly noticeable. Furthermore it's no problem at all when sitting on the side of the mattress, say to get up or put on your shoes, since the foam is nice and firm. One of my concerns was that since my old mattress was only 4" thick and this one is 4.5", I might have a problem closing the bed. To my surprise it closed fine. The best feature is that you don't feel the support bars of the frame AT ALL! A great added feature is that it comes with a no-skid, washable zippered mattress cover for extra protection and comfort. All in all, this was a great buy. We'll see how well it holds up in the long run. ## Features - Our bi-layered mattress combines a 3in firm polyurethane foam base with a 1.5in soft memory foam topping that slowly conforms to your body contours and still provides adequate support that’s compatible with most folding couch bed frames and is also used for boat, camper & RV. - Rough night? Your mattress cover might be responsible. The jacquard waterproof soft cover included on our mattress is so soft and comfortable that you might skip the fitted sheets. It’s also ventilated to allow body heat to dissipate. Sleep soundly, not stifling. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08288L2BB | | Additional Features | Removable Cover, Washable | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #128,153 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #365 in Mattresses | | Brand | Milliard | | Brand Name | Milliard | | Color | White | | Construction Type | Memory Foam | | Cover Material | Polyester | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 5,140 Reviews | | Fill Material | Memory Foam | | Item Depth | 4.5 inches | | Item Dimensions | 73 x 52 x 4.5 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 28.74"L x 20.47"W x 1.77"Th | | Item Firmness Description | Plush | | Item Thickness | 4.5 inches | | Manufacturer | Milliard | | Material Type | Memory Foam, Polyurethane | | Mattress Base Compatibility | Slatted Base | | Mattress Coil Type | Continuous Coil | | Mattress Comfort Layer Material | Memory foam | | Model Name | Memory | | Model Number | MIL-SFMT45 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Layers | 2 | | Product Benefits | Pressure Relief, Body Contouring, Temperature Regulation, Easy to Clean | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Product Dimensions | 28.74"L x 20.47"W x 1.77"Th | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | Full | | Style Name | Modern | | Top Style | Tight Top | | UPC | 840985117900 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | top-style | Tight Top | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Milliard - **Color:** White - **Cover Material:** Polyester - **Fill Material:** Memory Foam - **Item Firmness Description:** Plush - **Number of Layers:** 2 - **Product Dimensions:** 28.74"L x 20.47"W x 1.77"Th - **Size:** Full - **Special Feature:** Removable Cover, Washable - **Top Style:** Tight Top ## Images ![Milliard 4.5 Inch Memory Foam Replacement Mattress with Breathable, Waterproof and Washable Cover for Full Size Sleeper Sofa and Couch Beds (Sofa Not Included) - Full - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51TRFwgINaL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: After opening the sleeper sofa, how long does it take for the queen size mattress to fully expand and be ready to sleep on?** A: It's packed in a vacuum sealed bag to make it smaller for easier shipping. Time will tell, I will use a pillow topper on it for extra comfort as I did with the old original mattress. Only four stars for now because it fit, was as advertised and the quality appears to be ok. ## Frequently Bought Together - Milliard 4.5 Inch Memory Foam Replacement Mattress with Breathable, Waterproof and Washable Cover for Full Size Sleeper Sofa and Couch Beds (Sofa Not Included) - Full - Heavy Duty Sleeper Sofa Support Board (48x48 - Full Size) Reinforced Wood Sofa Bed Support, Pull Out Couch Mattress Board, Sleeper Bar Shield, SleeperSaver by Meliusly - Sleep Philosophy Holden Waterproof Sofa Bed Mattress Protection Pad with 3M Scotchgard Moisture Management -Microfiber - All Over Elastic Mattress Pad, Full 54x72, White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/185685881-milliard-4-5-inch-memory-foam-replacement-mattress-with-breathable](https://www.desertcart.be/products/185685881-milliard-4-5-inch-memory-foam-replacement-mattress-with-breathable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
