I bought the Irish Pub Cheddar Potato Soup as a tester; I know I should stock up on emergency supplies and I wanted see if this was edible. It's not only edible, it's a delicious and hearty meal. Don't wait until it's too late, stock your pantry with some of this now.

I actually did not try the soup. The ingredients were not listed anywhere online. I did not realize until reading the ingredients on the pouch that it has chicken powder and chicken flavoring in it. I am a vegetarian so will not be eating the soup. But if you are not a vegetarian, it will probably be good.

I've purchased several items from Valley Foods. They all taste good and were all a great value. However this is not one of them. Yes even for free and just pay shipping. Trust me, it's not free, the shipping cost alone is more than the amount of soup they give you is worth. The picture is very deceiving, it is a bag of air with a little bit of soup in it. They could make the package 1/4 the size and it would still be mostly air.

RATHER DISSAPOINTED WITH 21/2 CUPS @ $5 BUCKS.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this soup. Even my husband liked it and thought I made it from scratch.

Some of the best freeze dried food we have had. Great flavor, wife and kids loved it. I had been recommended by couple people to give this brand a try and it did not disappoint.

Defiantly not 2 servings, 460 calories per pouch, it has bitter after taste

I think it could of been good if it wasn't for all the salt. My husband even commented that it was too salty even for him. I got one to try and if liked was going to order more to put back for emergency situations. Well, this is no longer in the running. If you aren't allowed much salt in your diet then definitely don't order this. Seriously there is enough salt in there for 2 weeks worth of meals at least. Super disappointed.
