Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed. This was my favorite jarred salsa which, over the years as proved to be pretty elusive. You can't imagine my excitement when i found it on Amazon. Despite having to order a case of it, i didn't care. It was delivered today and I was ecstatic.This order was delivered on time, might even say it was delivered a little early, considering I wouldn't normally expect it until later in the evening.I waited until the children were in bed, I didn't wanna be interrupted with their questions and requests for bites, possible remarks of disgust. No, this was gonna be mine and mine alone. As soon as all was quiet, I ripped open the box and was met by a musty old smell, a smell with undertones of cumin. My heart sank in my chest.I begged the universe to please let this be limited to just a wet box n a broken jar. I could handle a single broken jar, shattered by a rushing delivery person, exhausted and cold from their work day. I could not handle what I found beneath the plastic seal on the case of salsa.Cutting back a corner revealed a garden of black, grey and green mold. Thick fuzz covering the bottom of the case, reaching out in all directions. The smell was one I couldn't have imagined on my own. Now that I've smelled it, I can only guess it's what swamp monsters smell like.I questioned all my life choices leading me here.Evidently, a jar did get busted, just not today, more like 6 months to a year ago. Realizing this, a different question entered my mind... What is the sell by date of these jars?! May 2021. Really??????I'm impressed more than angry. They managed to hide this case of salsa, for like a year, smash one of its jars while in salsa purgatory, and finally, when it was time to dig it out and sell it, the employee who sent it, didn't notice that this stinky wobbly old box was suspect af! I'm absolutely amazed. This case of salsa has beaten all the odds.If it were just one busted jar, busted the day of or even the month of.... If its sell by date didn't tell me that its been sitting in the dark sad and alone. If it didn't smell like swamp monsters, I wouldn't be so heart broken. I wanted this, I loved it from the moment I ordered it. I awaited it's arrival. What a let down.I don't want a refund, i sure as hell am not mailing this case of funky salsa back. I'm just letting everyone else know, what ever they're doing over there at amazon, don't order this salsa until after may 2021. Perhaps you'll get a less neglected or abused batch.

I love this product with multigrain scoops for lunch. I do not want my taste buds burned out with fire. See one reviewer downed this product. He obviously should have bought the fiery one.Please, please, keep the mild version available.It is GOOD, satisfying and nutritious.Thank you for On The Border Mild Salsa.

What can I say about this salsa? INCREDIBLE!!! We are a family who tends to make our own salsa because of the artificial tastes of the ones we have had in the past. Not any more. Finally, we have found a salsa that all of us can agree on.It tastes soooooo fresh and delicious. I hate to admit it but I managed to go through a whole case of 8 jars in 7 days...by myself.🤣 I couldn't help it. This salsa taste so wonderful. I prefer the mild, my kids like the medium, and my husband mixes the mild and medium together.Everyone is happy which makes me happy. Please don't ever stop making this.

I love on the border restaurants so when I saw their mild salsa I had to have it! I wasn't disappointed. I got the mild which is just my speed for heat and got the chips.Ready for football season!

Salsa=excellentPacking&Shipping=horrible1 out of the case was corroded at the top, and had been that way in storage because it had enough time to mold.It is April 7 2021. Exp date is June 2021......way to short of a date for a preserved product.So missing one and exp date is too soon. Will have to use it up. Disappointed in these two things. Taste is great in the undamaged ones.

Because I know I like this salsa, I didn't bother looking at the reviews. Big mistake! They arrived quickly and the box was not damaged. But two of the jars weren't sealed and had leaked all over! Fortunately, they are wrapped in plastic, so they didn't damage my other items in the box. But I was definitely disappointed and they obviously came from the factory this way, as there was no way for them to get unsealed otherwise.

This salsa is the only salsa that I buy. It's a significant flavor enhancer to my spaghetti! I'm disappointed that it's not readily available in stores anymore, nor on their website.

In my opinion, this is the best salsa. The price paid is about 35% higher than I pay locally, when it is in stock. I like it so well I was willing to pay extra when I could not find it locally.
