Not worth the money. It gets hot enough to melt the plastic alright, but the fan blows so hard that it literally blows the melted plastic all over the place. I'll be returning it. I had a particular repair that I purchased this for and I ended up using an old soldering iron instead.

This plastic welder is awesome. It heats up very quickly, less than 15 seconds. Blows a lot of air. You can plastic weld quickly and efficiently. It has variable heat settings for different kinds of plastic. It will turn plastic into a molten puddle very fast allowing you to complete repairs quickly.

This Hot Air Gun is great and after watching You Tube for advice about repairing plastic it's very easy to use.

I love this hot air welder the one i used before the head was to big and you needed a compressor i modified my kayak i learned a lot grate tool

It works really good it just takes time to get used to the settings it's good for the back I'd buy it again

I need to learn to use it takes practice.
