Devonsheer Melba Toast, Rye, 5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I've been eating Melba Sesame Rounds along with my morning tea for many years. It was so wonderful to find a 12-pk on Amazon at a great price. Some reviews talk about the broken bits but I haven't found too many to be annoying. The bits have the same taste as the whole ones!!! Each box has a sealed bag inside so no worries if you don't eat them within a short time frame. They are date stamped but I already know I'll finish them before they expire!! I've put these on my Subscribe & Save list for a delivery every 3 months. Highly recommend if you're addicted to Melba Sesame Rounds!

Upon opening a box, I noticed that the top pack of crackers were reduced to crumbs. I then looked and noticed that the whole box was in crumbs. Completely unusable as a cracker. I ate the first pack of crumbs and this was a shame because they were fresh and tasted great. When it comes to food products like this, it is not a good idea buy online and have them shipped to you. Not breakable food anyway. I can imagine that the whole case is nothing but crumbs. I will know better next time.

The Garlic Melba Rounds are my favorite. However, the price jumped from $27 to $47 within a month & the new batch is half baked, the cracker's color is white instead of golden toasted & there isn't even a hint of garlic. When this cracker is good, it is very good. When it is half baked & has no garlic taste or smell, it is really bad.

I opened the first box of the set of 12 and found many of the items in the box were broken rather than in one piece. This was very disappointing. I then open the second box and found the same problem, lots of broken pieces. I would never buy this again and would tell anyone else thinking of purchasing this to look elsewhere.

I used to buy this brand all the time but had not seen it recently. Melba toast is rather pricey and difficult to find in the stores these days. Taste is good.

Since this product is sooo hard to find in the supermarkets, I was glad to find it on Amazon. They are a favorite of mine and my son. So delicious and versatile. Yum.

Love this cracker, love the packaging - they come bundled in little 6 piece packs which keeps the box fresh. BUT, I think our carrier or the factory must have dropped our carton several times because we've been through three boxes and I don't believe we've gotten one whole cracker out of the bunch! LOL! Hasn't effected their taste and many at least broke in halves which does make them more 'cracker' sized, but sometimes we are left shaking out the crumbs as topping for something. Nice thing about these though, can be used for sweet or savory toppings - which I love!

Can’t order these thru Amazon anymore.75% of the rounds come shattered into little pieces. Totally unsatisfactory. Will just have to buy a few boxes at retail.
