Works well, holds threads and yarns very well so you can get it done. But OMG the smell. I think i am going to leave these out in the open in the garage for a few weeks before I try to use them again. My eyes and nose burn from just the few minutes trying it out.

After having completely ripped through a cardboard wheel like this from the local Hobby Lobby, I ordered these.First off, they are not exactly plastic as (I thought) the implication was, however that has not diminished their usefulness one bit! They are a thick heavy sturdy foam that doesn't catch on the threads. I am working on a long cord for trim on some reenacting outfits and it is a smooth easy process.The only con that I can see is the white color. It shows dirt too much.

I got these so me and my daughter can teach a group of orphans to Make bracelets. We are on a missions trip next month and the place we are heading has very few toys. These work great. So much better than the paper ones. You can go on you tube and get how to videos. I love how compact and light weight they are. Makes The perfect gift to item to take when you travel.

We bought these to use at day camp. The instructions were difficult to understand, but YouTube made it easy. They were a hit. Embroidery floss tangled easily, especially for the younger kids. Heavier cord and plastic lacing worked great. The kids were very excited when they found out they all got to keep one.

This wheel works very well with thread to make bracelets! I first used the cardboard wheel from another kit. It is so much easier to make a bracelet with the Weave Wheel! Since it is easier, the project goes a lot faster. Also, the cardboard wheel starts to come apart after you make just one bracelet. I highly recommend this wheel.

The foam weave wheels are the way to go. These are much preferred over the card board version offered in some of the chain craft stores.. I use the foam disks with embroidery floss or pearl cotton for neck cords and bracelets in jewelry making. I keep track of where I am by leaving not completing the upstroke of any pair. TR

I shared this with a friend of mine and we both loved it! The cardboard wheel are hard to work with and break after a few uses. These are durable and easy to use. I've made dozens of bracelets on mine and it still looks like it did when I first got it!
