The Done Thing: A Book Club Recommendation! Hardcover – November 4, 2016

That felt redeeming about the story...there wasn't. It was very hard to follow the author's thoughts and voice. It was a struggle. This seemed more like a literary statement against capital punishment by the author, rather than a literary work of fiction.

I chose this book for my book club because it was a book club suggested book. It was a little confusing because the main character was all over the place but as the book went on it was more manageable.It was a really fast read which lets me know that it was good. Overall it kept my attention and even made me have different emotions. Pretty good book.

I would never write anyone in jail let alone someone that killed a family member, get another hobby lady

The Done Thing by Tracy Manaster is a book I could not put down. The author creates tension by using more than one character's voice. While the reader is being lead to an inevitable conclusion, how we get there and how we feel about it keeps us on the edge of our seat. The writing is both sly and poignant. I found myself racing to the end of the book, while simultaneously wanting to slow down to savor the writing and make the book last.

Delivered on time & the book looks brand new! Can't wait to start reading!

A true pleasure to read: a thought provoking premise, thoroughly engaging characters and skillfully rendered prose. I found myself stealing moments in my day to read this.

The Done Thing was a book that kept me up late into the night. A book, suspenseful from the beginning to the end that kept me guessing till the very last word. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

The Done Thing was masterful, with a few surprises thrown in to keep the reader on their toes. I highly recommend it.
