FAQs: * To purchase spray in addition to repellent drops, see seller's other listings. Q: How does the flea and tick repellent work? The tick and flea topical treatment drops use a blend of natural essential oils that repel ticks and fleas. The oil drops can be applied to the dog’s skin or coat and provide continuous protection from ticks and fleas. Q: How do I apply the drops? A: The tick and flea repellent drops can be applied directly to the dog’s skin. We recommend applying drops between the shoulder blades, along the back, behind the ears, and in front of the tail. The drops should be reapplied every 2-5 days or as needed. Q: How long will these products last me? A: One bottle contains about 1,200 drops, enough for 4-6 months. Q: My dog has sensitive skin, are these products safe? A: The ingredients used in our products are both gentle and safe. You will likely find that our products will not irritate your dog’s skin. As with all natural products, it is possible (although unlikely) that your dog might be allergic to an ingredient in our drops. We recommend testing a single drop on your dog prior to using. If redness, swelling, or itching occurs, discontinue use and contact a veterinarian. Q: I’ve been using your product, but I just found a tick on my dog. Does that mean the product isn’t working? A: Although our tick and flea repellents are highly effective and repel the vast majority of ticks, it is possible that once-in-awhile, a tick might still try to attach itself to your dog. If you find this is the case, try applying more drops on your dog, focusing on areas where ticks like to attach (i.e. head, ears).

I have a 16 month old son who is always petting the dog and the dog sleeps in bed with me so I really dislike using topical prod
I have been using this product for a few weeks now on my small dog and as far as I can tell it works. I have not had a chance to take her to any usual hiking spots where she has picked up ticks in the past so I can't say for sure it works on ticks. I haven't found any fleas on her so I would say it works well so far! she is outside in the yard a lot, with other dogs on the other side of the fence and no fleas have found her. In the past if I missed a dose of flea treatment I would undoubtably find a couple of fleas on her.I do find the scent a little strong, I wish it did not have citronella oil in it, not sure what could be used as an alternative to this but I'm not crazy about the smell. That being said, I'd rather have to deal with a slightly obnoxious smell than with the poisons used in most flea and tick products. I have a 16 month old son who is always petting the dog and the dog sleeps in bed with me so I really dislike using topical products for these reasons.I also found that this product does not absorb very well into my dogs skin, it seems to keep her fur very oily where it has been applied for several days. I'm not crazy about that, but it is preferable over even a day of wet fur with something like frontline that is unsafe for my son to be touching and then it finding it's way into his mouth!I am pleased this has been working and is safe for the family! It would have gotten 5 stars if my nose wasn't so sensitive....

I used to find the occasional tick on him when treated with Vectra so Terra Pet seems even more effective than the chemical stuff none of us like to use anyway given all the bad possible side ...
This stuff WORKS!! I started using it last year after my epileptic dog was having severe grand mal seizures a day or so after applying the chemical based flea & tick protection. Initially I was skeptical since we live in VA where ticks thrive all through the year but I have not seen a flea or tick on him when he is sprayed in Terra Pet Naturals. I used to find the occasional tick on him when treated with Vectra so Terra Pet seems even more effective than the chemical stuff none of us like to use anyway given all the bad possible side effects. I bought both the drops & the spray. The drops are strong but I learned to dilute the drops into a mix of apple cider vinegar & water - which makes a LOT of spray! We used it all thru last year & I still have half a bottle of drops. Not only better for your dog as a chemical-free option but also much cheaper than the chemical topicals. So happy to have found this stuff!

Repels unwanted critters from your home and pets!
I bought this because my two huskies live in my house and due to their thick coats, fleas love to make their coats their lasting home during the hot months. No amount of dry baths or flea shampoo keeps them away long!It has a pleasant smell and does seem to repel the fleas from my fur kids. The biggest plus of this is that we live in a pretty hot area so their are scorpions, snakes and other creatures living around our home. I mix this with water and spray it around my house multiple times a week. It works like a charm to keep unwanted critters away. This was proven a couple weeks ago when I skipped a week of spraying it around the house; woke up to a scorpion hanging out on my carpet!! Will definitely keep us stocked up on this from now on during the summer!

Great alternative to harsh flea and tick repellents
So far so good. I've been using this dripped on a collar as the only tick repellent for my dog this season and have yet to find any fleas or ticks on him since I started using it. The only complaint I have is that it says to reapply when the scent wears off and I find myself having to reapply once a week or so.

works great. this is the only thing I use to repel ticks and fleas on my dog. I use one dropper full every few weeks or so.

Very good
I put this on my dogs' collars as an extra flea and tick preventative because ticks are bad in our area and Lyme disease is scary. They also take Bravecto orally. This was the perfect blend of the oils I was looking for. I put drops of this in a large spray bottle with filtered water and spray it on myself, my dogs, and my furniture. If you found my review helpful in any way, please click "yes" below.

Actually works!
I absolutely love this product! I had a big problem with my lab getting covered in ticks when we'd take her walking in the woods. I started dabbing drops along her back, paws and neck. I haven't found ANY ticks.

On two dogs under 20 lbs - works great so far!!
We have been using both the drops and the spray together. First of all, I love how this product smells! I know the smell doesn't contribute to its effectiveness but I do love that it smells so good! Second, we recently moved from a concrete jungle in Southern California to a green, lush part of the Midwest and were naturally concerned about fleas and ticks on our small dogs. We've been using the product about a month, and I've only seen one flea on one dog. I'm so thankful! Lastly, something I didn't expect was that my dogs would bite and lick their feet less after being outside. Ever since we started using this product it seems that their foot irritation has lessened considerably. I'm not sure if that's common or to be expected but I'm certainly pleased with it. We are extremely satisfied with Terra Pet Naturals products and would recommend them to friends.Just a side note, I do tend to use less on the smallest dog only because she weighs less than 10 pounds and it still seems to work great on her.
