Milk Champagne Chocolate Truffles - Luxury Valentines Day Chocolate Truffles Gift for Her | Love Cocoa 150g

This is a present for my partner at Easter so haven't tasted them yet but hoping they are lovely to make up for the very small size! They came in a large Amazon box and got quite excited until I opened the box to find half of it filled with paper and then the very small round container of chocolates.I know my partner has bought me a massive egg at half the price so will feel obliged to tell him it might be small but was very expensive! Sorry to be negative but would have been happier paying a lot less...It's now Easter Sunday and I have just given these chocolates to my partner, who is a gin drinker. There are 13 chocolates inside which makes them over a pound each for a small ball of chocolate and a soft filling that apparently tastes quite nice but not of gin. Can't believe they have the cheek to charge nearly £17 for this. Even more disappointed than when I wrote the first review!

Really wanted to love these, but I don’t. Big fan of dark chocolate, but I found these truffles a bit tasteless with no ‘melt in the mouth’ experience. The box tube is ok, nothing special, and they are quite expensive for the amount you get. I’ve no self control when it comes to chocolate, if I really love a chocolate experience, I’ll quite happily sit and finish the lot off in one sitting, but unfortunately after just two of these, I won’t be eating any more. Disappointed.

Firstly the taste quality of the truffles was excellent ... quite luxurious in fact. The chocolate box itself is very good as well .. expensive looking so adds to the overall experience.Unfortunately when opening the truffles the inner plastic 'bag' was already open suggesting that the chocolates had been opened before and returned. On removing the top four truffles those underneath were all broken and in bits so not in one piece. Overall a very disappointing valentines day gift for my wife.

You can clearly taste the alchool. Not sure if of champagne... but yes, it is there. The raspberry flakes on the top add a bit of sourness to white chocolate's sweetness, which is definitelly a good combination. I wouldnt mind this same one but in Extra dark chocolate. Just a comment on the box: i think it should be positioned upside down , just stick the label on the other side, as , the way i received it, when you keep the pralines inside the box and you then close the box, the hard border push downward... and it should be the opposite to avoid crashing the pralines inside. Other than that i was quite satisfied with the flavour

Bought these chocolates as a present for my daughter (from her dog!) We shared them on New Year's Day and WOW! The most delicious chocolates we have ever tasted! Well done Love Cocoa I shall certainly recommend your chocs to one and all.Great taste, great presentation.

Nice packaging, reasonable value, wanted some ‘nice’ chocolates for my gluten intolerant friend which these seem to be. As she is also a Gin drinker hopefully these will fit the bill. Box looks classy & is a reasonable size, can’t comment on the flavour yet, will post later if there are any issues.

I started work at Cadburys after university. learned all my IT skills there over 6 years and had a work life in IT so very grateful. I learnt a lot about chocolate making all the stages from harvest, roasting and processing. I was interested to see James Cadbury on Dragons Den, he received great support. I bought two Salted Caramel Chocolate Truffles for my wife and daughter-in-law, a great hit 😀. Really glad to see the Cadbury family back making chocolate.

Really lovely....I had one because they were a anniversary gift for my wife. She was very impressed as was I and she is a massive salted caramel fan who's tried a fair few. Not too sweet, flavoursome and high quality chocs.
