Fantastic Book!
I just finished reading "Your Genius Body" by Dr. Rostenberg. What a lovely book about different health issues and concerns!the book is easy to read. He talks about Methylation and genetics, Health begins in the stomach, the oxalate problem (eating greens are not always good for some people)Methylation and Depression, MTHFR and SIBO. He also have a protocol for each problem. Did you know that people that are borned with the MTHFR C677T genes experience a much higher risk of depression? The MTHF genes are a big problem because they reduce the amount of Folate (B9) available & active in our cells. This will lead to Folate deficiency, which can impact all areas of our body, especially our brain. He also talk about genetics and bad genes like MTHFR and even that if we have bad genes and more subject to be sick it is not the only reason to be sick. Yes, our genetics predispose us to certain limitations but a bad lifestyle is worse than a bad genetic reports! The entire purpose of that book is to help us optimize our genes by supporting optimum methylation in every cell. I recommend that book to everyone that has a health problem (or even just curious) and tired of conventional medicine.I'm fortunate because I have friends that know about Applied Kinesiology and functional medicine but I must say that that book taught me a lot that I did not know!Thank you so much Dr.Rostenberg for sharing your knowledge!Michel Bourgeois

Not quite finished with it. But very eye opening and informative, what I was hoping for. Makes us think twice about what we eat and how we take care of our bodies.

So Much Great Information!
Dr. Rostenberg really made this difficult topic easy to understand. He has a great, inviting writing style that makes the information very readable. He relates genetic information to real issues and symptoms and then helps you understand what you can do to help improve your health. I found out that I do have the slowed MTHFR genes and so this was helpful in understanding some issues that I have already experienced but I will keep it around to reference.
