To get back to their full-sized selves, the kids must collect the parts of an "unshrinking" machine. Finding these parts is no easy task. To get them, children must play eight clever games, each one focusing on language arts, math, and geography challenges. To obtain three essential unshrinker gumballs, for instance, kids use their money skills by putting the right change and bills into the gumball machine. In another activity, they'll use a funny, opera-singing taxi boat to select correctly spelled words, with string (much needed for the unshrinking machine) serving as a reward. Entertaining animations break up the sometimes repetitive tasks- kids might be chased by rats and spiders, or sucked up by a vacuum cleaner. Other activities zero-in on grammar and parts of speech, and a demanding elevator requires lots of practice with multiple digit addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This game won't work well with kids who lose interest quickly. The tasks are quite challenging (we had to pull out our calculators) and the repetitions can be tiresome. Also, clicks could have been more responsive.
