Great concept, poor execution.
A few weeks into owning this, while walking through the streets on vacation in Istanbul, a wheel snapped clear off. Broken plastic. After dodging cars to retrieve the wheel from the middle of te street, we stood on the road for five minutes trying to figure out what to do. Took it to a bike repair shop where they were able to weld together new parts. It worked to get us back to the U.S., but it's not really usable anymore. Great concept. Shoddy construction and parts.

Saved this mom!
I love it! I flew with my 2 girls (2.7 yrs and 7 months) alone. The Sit n Stroll worked just like it was supposed to. I love how the handle extends up to a comfortable height for me (I'm 5'10"). Most of the airline personnel had never seen such a thing. The FAA approved sticker is right on the seat so there's no mistaking it.It did not fit down the aisle as a stroller but I would of had to take my daughter out to put it in the seat anyway. It is a little awkward to make into a stroller or roll up the wheels with a toddler in it but you can do it. And make sure the unit is off the ground while transitioning. It made my trip so much easier!! I highly recommend it!

Survived a Euro Tour!!
We recently went on a 20 day Europe your. Multiple cities, airports and trains including, taxis and tours. At first I was skeptical if the wheels could last out but they did. My 2 yr old weighs under 30 pounds and it fit him perfectly. Was a lifesaver when we were taking public transport all over.Cons: 1. The only complaint was the instructions were pretty hard to understand and it took a while to figure out how to strap a front facing car seat.2. you do need 2 people to operate this bec if you have a wriggly one, it will be hard to hold the child and convert it from a car seat to a stroller 3. Too heavy to convert if the child is still sitting in the car seat.Overall for convenience very satisfied and worth the price.

I want to love it, but I don't
It's a fantastic idea - and I've now used to on several domestic and international trips. It looks great, and is very convenient that I can just take one item on trips esp since I don't usually use a stroller at home. However, It's neither a great car seat (my l.o. is still rear facing and the straps don't inspire confidence that they would actually hold), nor a great stroller (bulky). And the design, while promising, still needs work. The various cords get stuck often so the locking mechanism for the stroller either don't open, or won't close - or the wheels will suddently close when I'm rolling (and yes, I pull down hard and listen for the click). Also, it's too wide to fit down the airplane aisles, and doesn't really fit in the airplane seats anymore. And worse - I submitted the Warranty Card - and it was returned saying the Business Office was closed! So if there is a recall, there is no way for the company - does it still exist (?) to contact me!

We do love it enough to have purchased a second it makes traveling easier. The drawback- to use it as a booster/carseat on plane you have to carry it above the seats as it does not roll down the aisle...easier said than done when u are toting two mobile babies. We decided to gate check from now on- it still makes life exponentially easier w carseat/booster and stroller functions. Our 1.5 yo loves to play with it also ...hours of entertainment.

Needs adjustments to the design but still useful to have
Now that we're out of an infant carrier, we don't travel (by plane) without the Lilly Gold. The sun shade got warped in the car though. Not sure why, maybe the heat of the sun?Editing my rating to a 3. When we first got it, it was really hard to open and close it. It kept getting stuck. With use, it's gotten a little easier but will still get stuck now and then. The sunshade is warped so badly that it's unusable and it's very hard to remove.

Sit n Stroll gets the job done
The Sit n Stroll is the only stroller/car seat that I could find. The bottom line is it gets the job done. The main reason I purchased it is for travel. When traveling in big cities I needed a portable car seat to use in cabs. If you are a parent, you know that car seats are extremely heavy! The Sit n Stroll makes the heaviness of the car seat a non-issue since it converts to a stroller and can be rolled around. It is easy to convert from car seat to stroller and is easy to install in any car forward or rear facing with a seatbelt. The only con is that the handle bars are a bit wobbly which makes it slightly difficult to maneuver. When it comes to steering, it simply does not compare to a high-end stroller but it serves it's purpose.

Very Happy With My Purchase!
I purchased this Lily Gold Sit 'n' Stroll not knowing what to expect from the glowing and not so good reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised how good quality this Car Seat/Stroller was. I found it very easy to assembly and disassemble (but I did practice a few times before my trip to make sure I got the hang of it). I got some compliments on how nice it looked, which made me happy considering this was a pricey product. :)
