Babar's Yoga for Elephants Hardcover – September 1, 2006

This used book came promptly and was in excellent condition, even including the yoga chart. It was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, and sent in a bubble mailer by Lady Jen Book Seller. I am delighted to have it--I had many Babar books as a child, and love the drawings. The yoga poses are also helpful (even though it reminds you that it is written for elephants, so check with your doctor).

I've started doing yoga again and my 6 year old twins and 3 year old son have taken an interest in doing yoga with me. I wanted to get them something that they could use as a visual to try some stuff on their own.I grew up with Babar. I brought home Babar books every week from school and couldn't read them fast enough. I was so excited to see that there was a Babar yoga book. My boys love it too. This book shows how to do different poses, step by step, in fun, child friendly illustrations.

My granddaughter and I first saw this book at a local yoga studio. She is familiar with Babar and his exploits, and has done yoga with me for a few years, so she was tickled when she saw "Babar's Yoga" and began to read several noteworthy quotes to me, including the revelation that elephants had in fact invented yoga! She was so charmed by the book, she put it at the top of her Christmas list, and was delighted to find it under the tree. The book does provide accurate yoga information, actual poses illustrated by elephants, and a sense of the yogic purpose. It'a a fun introduction to yoga.

I love this book and have often gift to friends. Growing up with these stories its fun to continue my spiritual and physical growth with Babar and friends. Wonderful story for your book or yoga collection.

I love Babar and ordered this book for my 4 year old great-granddaughter. The book is really fun, but I keeping it a couple of years until my granddaughter is a little older. Unless a child is really familiar with Babar they won't enjoy the book at a really young age.

Super sweet book, great for kids and anyone into Yoga. A great gift! It is much smaller than I expected but very nice nonethless

Excellente transaction; livre correspond tout à fait à la description...l'attente est un peu longue mais ce livre a fait un voyage transatlantique pour aller jusqu'à moi. Super histoire et les dessins sont jolis

Nice book. My 4yrs son sais I can't do same pose because I don't have nose like elephant...some picture elephant holds his leg by nose😂 But still nice love it

I originally bought this book 10 years ago when I was teaching yoga full time at my own studio. I loved it so much that I gave it to one of my students, who shared it with his nephew. I always wanted to buy another copy, and when I started teaching yoga to elementary aged children this year, I knew that I had to buy it again. It is so cute, and kids love it! Item arrived on time and in excellent condition. A+++++
