The Chakra Connection: Everything You Need To Know to Heal Your Body, Mind, and Awaken Your Soul Kindle Edition

I have been a student of the chakras for 30 years, starting when I had my Reiki I attunement. The concept of these energy centers has always intrigued me, so when I found this book on one of my book review sites, I had to snap it up. The book, unfortunately, did have some issues, including one major one. There were some minor ones, in comparison, like issues with awkward prose and problems with grammar, punctuation, and usage. I found it interesting that the author chose to spend quite a bit of this book on chakras and yoga, a connection I had never made before. Some modalities discussed are not ones that are familiar to me, so I cannot speak to the veracity of what is stated in those chapters. However, having been a Reiki Master for 25 years, I am qualified to say that most of what she says in the Reiki chapter is completely wrong. Some abilities she ascribes to Reiki practitioners are otherworldly, woo-woo new age and just are not common, typical, or a part of the entire Reiki system. Her descriptions of Reiki practitioners and “specialists,” as she calls us throughout, are just wrong on so many levels that I cannot recount them fully. I read through the chapter gasping at how incredibly wrong this chapter was. Among other things, she states that people attune themselves Reiki, though she doesn't use the word attune. That is not accurate; to allow Reiki to flow through you, a Reiki master teacher must attune you. As the Reiki chapter was so completely and utterly bad, I cannot recommend this book.I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

I love learning and reading about the Chakras. You can never have too much information when it comes to your energy and I really enjoyed this book. It give you the low down on the seven chakras and how they can help you achieve a healthier life.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As I am a beginner, this book really helped me form a comprehensive understanding of the chakra system! Its a handy guide for newbies and a quick and engaging read! I've read a few other chakra books in the past but this one is my favorite

This is my second book that I have read from Alexandra Rudowski and they keep getting better.My favorite part about her books are how the information is applicable to my daily life. Reading these books have helped accelerate my spiritual journey and I'm grateful for that!!!
