Didn't like them. Not for me. Item was as described, and does hold your glasses, but - the leather-like strap/chain is so rigid and stiff, that it rides up the side of your face, right up to the side of my eyeball underneath my glasses (actually was somewhat comical!) as you turn your head left or right. See the attached pic - the material is so rigid that the kinks never really smoothed out from being wrapped around the cardboard packaging either. The style was nice, but perhaps the manufacture should create a more softer, pliable material?

These eyeglass straps are exactly what I needed! The colors are neutral yet stylish, so they blend in nicely. I also like that the loops that connect to the glasses are made of a rubber-like material that grips the glasses so they do not slide off and stay firmly in place.

I read the reviews and thought I would like the look of these. However, my expensive Vuarnet glasses kept falling off the loops to the floor, scratching my precious eye protection. Then the loop broke and I cannot even use these useless holders. Unfortunate but true. Don't buy these

This product did not last. I wore the same one everyday for a month and it has peeled. It also has never softened so it is always sticking out at weird angles.

The first issue is that the loop material which holds the eyeglasses is very thin and the fastener that creates the loops is made of plastic and slides too easily. The result is that the eyeglasses slip out of the loop and my glasses keep falling on the ground. I am used to this being tight enough so that once you adjust it will stay in place. That was not the case with the first of the three cords I tried. I finally tried to tighten the fastener, since they are usually metal and I thought with a gentle squeeze it would stay in place. Because it was plastic, it broke. I am now trying the second one to see if that one will work better.The second issue is that the cords are very stiff, and don't drape properly when the glasses are on. As another reviewer said the cord rides forward on the shoulder and sits near my cheek.

My husband had cataract surgery last year that resulted in 20/20 distance vision. For the first time in his life, he couldn’t read up close without generic readers. He was frustrated all day with needing readers that were not handy, and I got tired of the fussy, “I can’t read it without my glasses.” He is absolutely thrilled to always have his readers available with this gizmo! He has thanked me a dozen times (the trio was a stocking-stuffer) and happy to have them handy at work all day without having to remember to pack and carry his reading glasses from meeting to meeting, something a person that doesn’t struggle with this vision limitation just wouldn’t get. It may seem minor, but it’s a simple tool with a significant impact and works really well.

As long as you’re not looking to make a fashion statement these glass slings deliver. I primarily bought them because I wanted black, not an assortment, but they’ve proven all-around superior to others I’ve purchased. They are x-long to put on over a baseball cap and very durable in the metal and rubber business ends ... can cinch tight, haven’t slipped off even once. The leather lanyard looks solid and masculine ... sorry ladies.

The straps on these l Elegant Eyeglass straps were too stiff and too thick. Instead of just hanging down unobtrusively from the eyeglass frames, these straps would sort of bow out when you turned your head slightly, thus coming into your peripheral vision. It was annoying. I think they're a little too sturdy for their intended task, I mean, eyeglasses are relatively lightweight items. This strap was unnecessarily heavy weight. I returned. I gave three stars as they DID do their job, and they looked like they did in the photos. But the photos don't give you an idea of the straps lack of pliability.
