I purchased this dashcam on June 9th, 2015. Within the year, the dashcam was experiencing issues. It would turn off unexpectedly and so seemed somewhat unreliable off the bat, but I gave it a chance seeing as I'd just paid $189 and it had a warranty. The last straw was this past July. I got into my car, after a long day of work, and the unit was extremely hot. I noticed this because the greeting, when I enter the car, was garbled and inaudible. Upon closer inspection, the cam's body had split down the sides. It would not clip back together and obstructed the usb port, not allowing me to plug in the cable. I also noted that the memory card was now stuck inside.I contacted customer service who didn't help me at all. I sent them pictures 3 times and my last correspondence with them was July 25th. I highly doubt they're going to do anything at this stage. Terrible product and even worse customer service. Do not buy from this company.Update 10/19/16 After some back and forth, customer service finally offered to ship me another unit, which I installed in my wife's car. It seems to be working, like the last one did, but I'm waiting to see if this one has any problems down the line. Time will tell

Really nice, would be better with 2560*1080 @ 60fps and HDR.

KH903 provides audible notifications including lane departure warning, front vehicle moving warning, front collision warning and low light warning are of great use when you are driving on freeway at night. KH903 have a battery for about 17 minute’s emergency use with a full charge. Emergency recording will start when Gravity-sensor is ON and a car brakes suddenly or is involved in a collision. You can also review your video, your location and speed using the GeoVideo software. Furthermore, it is a great tool for documenting your road trip and showing off your driving skills. It is one of the best Car DVRs I have ever used. I would highly recommend KH903 to anyone who wants to buy a Car DVR.

The video quality is excellent. The problem I have is the suction is super cheap so the unit constantly falls off the windshield ed and smashes on my dash. The other issue is I constantly have to reset the unit via the pin sized reset button because it either freezes or won't record or the image is distorted.Update- customer service just gave excuses for why it operates poorly. I'm throwing this thing in the garbage and finding a better one. Too bad because I bought this based on the reviews that I had read about it but I'm regretful I bought it. It's a piece of trash. I only give it 2 stars because when it is working properly the video quality and playback are great. But I constantly have to hit the pin sized reset button to get it to workAn update. My xamera crapped out on me. Its been exactly a year. I will never buy this brand again

Bought this in April 2015. Video quality is excellent. I would give this camera five stars but for the fact that, only a year and a half or so later, it's practically dead. A few months ago, it started randomly shutting off while in use. Now it shuts off four or five times in a ten minute trip. The audio functionality has also died. I loved its performance otherwise, just too bad it has such a short life.

This is a great camera when it works. However, when you need to service it...forget it!!! The seller doesn't bother to tell you that there are no repair facilities in the United States to fix ti or any OEM parts available for anyone competent technician to make any needed repairs. The seller gave me one of three options: send it back to China (at my own expense for repair), buy another unit less $90, or be reimbursed $90 and throw the unit away. I chose the latter. By the way, all it needed was a new internal lithium battery which should have been common and physically replaceable. (I had a tech look at it. It recorded, but kept resetting itself to 2008 and got very hot.)Do yourself a favor, go to Best Buy or some other retailer and get yourself a GoPro "Hero." The camera works well, has a great warranty and customer service, and will be serviced in the United States.

I purchased two dash cams. It works good, but one of them got problem on freezing button about 2 months after the purchased date. It just record about few minutes and stop recording with screen on.

The camera does run warm but has held up so far in my truck in full sun. I'm a commercial driver and wanted something with a higher memory capacity and enough resolution to capture numbers on vehicles. This camera has worked for that. I do regret that it does not have any sort of Zoom feature so that images cannot be captured in a narrower range at a higher resolution. But it does interface well with the Windows computer. The feature it has for saving files is a bit odd in that it saves a thirty second chunk after you press the button.Other reviews are correct In at the instruction manual is lacking.
