I bought one of these for a new rescue and decided to discard the old soft shell carrier Had and get one of these for an older resident dog. These have, for me, some big 'pluses'" they have a metal frame and are very easy to put together. Too many other soft-sides have plastic frames - I worry about the carrier keeping its frame in an accident/sudden stop. While I have hard sided carriers, I really prefer these, and ended up getting a third (smaller0 one to replace a hard side carrier. The hard sides tend, after a short while, to 'fail' at the clips (holding the top to the bottom) and the doors tend to lose their 'fit', making them both noisy while driving (rattle) and dangerous if the door falls inward on the dog. The metal frames on these seem study - at least as much as the hard sided carriers, and certainly enough to keep the carrier intact in a 'fender bender'...they also give the dogs more visibility in the car - so not only the dogs can look around but also I can see how each dog is tolerating the trip. The single drawback is that the handles don't 'work' with seat belt restraints, but tha can be solved by wrapping the belt around the handle a couple of times. All said - I'd buy it again. For sure.

I used this kennel to transport 2 cats on a two day car trip. It worked extremely well! It was easy to place them in the cariier from the top, and I was able to check on them easily because of the screened but open sides. The framing snapped into place easily and kept the carrier form collapsing. It was my first time to see and use such a carrier and I am sold! Now I would like to find even a smaller one to replace the standard hard sided one I have to transport one cat to the vet. This particular one, so perfect for two cats, would be a little unwieldy for easy carrying for this elderly woman.

I have the next size of this carrier also and totally love it. They are very well made, have lots of venilation and room, come with a sheepskin mat. My cats love them bcs they can see and aren't squashed. The bigger one I actually put a bed in. They also have pockets on the out side on one end for carrying things like keys, water, etc...

We took this on a trip for our 7 lb yorkie in a size med. We also bought a new pad for the bottom and added his favorite blanket. He loved it! We love how easy it is to assemble, how flat it folds down, and that it has mesh for airflow. Our dog does not have anxiety issues, or is not a chewer, so he didn't attempt to destroy the carrier. He uses it when we leave the house for a few hours, and on his own when tired.Love it!!

Really like this crate. It has plenty of space for my cat and allows them to stand up. I got it for a long drive. I like that it is vented on the side, the front and the top. It easily folds up and is well constructed and easy to clean. I gave it four stars because one of our cats was able to unzip one door and get out.

Fits our 15 lb ragamuffin with room to spare! We Velcro up the sides and top, put a blanket in the bottom, and it becomes a bed for him, which he likes! To crate train our cats, we left all the sides up to start, then over the next few weeks would flip one side down til there was only one open side. After that we practiced with them being zipped in for short periods of time with a treat or two. Our cat still doesn't like car rides or traveling but he doesn't try to get out of this carrier, and at the vet he even decided on his own to climb back into it! No fighting to get him in!

We got this carrier to transport our 15 lb dogs. The Medium is so much roomier than I anticipated, but not too big either. The dogs love it! Im glad they have enough room to spin around and stand up. I’m about to order a second one. It’s sturdy, and I like how it opens on 3 sides. I put it next to our black “airline approved” carrier that is horribly small and useless for our pups. Our dogs seem too big to fly. But this carrier is great for the price!

I got this for my three chihuahuas to share in the car. We travel back and forth and lot from house to house in town and I just want to ensure their safety. I got a medium and it’s perfect sized for my two 7 pound and one 6 pound chihuahuas, it’s easy to get in and out of the car. There’s a zipper on the long side, wide side, and on top. It’s good quality, and my dogs actually really like it.
