Often called "Half-teeth" these are fragments of teeth from the prehistoric shark Megalodon. Each box contains 3 pieces that are 3.5 to 4.5 inches long. See photos for an example of the variety - An inch ruler is shown in some photos for scale. These are a good assortment of teeth and some in each box will still have the serrated edges on one side of the tooth - very neat! These teeth are ethically collected in South Carolina. Whole teeth cost hundreds of dollars each so these are a fun and economical way to own real Megalodon fossil teeth without the high cost. Mantis Minerals brand product.

Great teeth!
(Review from the son of the purchaser)Of course, every fossil collection needs some of these. I had been searching for a while on amazon until I found this for a reasonable price, and when the teeth arrived a day earlier than I thought it might, I got five teeth. They weren't all the biggest, but the biggest were around 3 and 4 inches, and they were good quality and weren't even partial. About 90% of the teeth was the full fossil. Great teeth, and if I had enough, I might just buy it again for the fun of it!
