Tiggly Counts, Award winning Educational Math Toys and Learning Games for Kids

I'm a bit lost on this thing. The reviews were good but having had it at home for some time I really don't see the point of it. We ordered one at Christmas, I recall it was 20 dollars. I may be mistaken but I find it hard to imagine that I would have paid 30 (current price) for five bits of plastic with holes in them. Given that you can use fingers on the free app, I'm not sure what the great benefit is of having the plastic blocks. I think this is one of those "things" that parents think they ought to buy for their kids and because it looks a bit like the Numericon counting system it seems somehow useful. I think my son of 3 played with it for a while but rapidly grew out of it. I didn't find the apps as intuitive as I would have liked.I think if it were, say, 10 or 15 dollars I would be more cheerful about this product. It just seems overpriced and underperforming.

I bought these for my kids for Christmas. Similar to some of the other reviews, we are having problems with a few of the pieces not being recognized by the iPad. I emailed their customer service, and they gave me a suggestion of holding the pieces with both hands, making sure my fingers were over the black band. They are also sending us replacement pieces for those not working. Holding the pieces differently helps a little, but they still aren't working consistently, and my 3yo daughter can't manipulate them enough to make it work. Hopefully the replacement parts make a difference, because my daughter loves playing with them. The theory is great, but it seems that the pieces need some fine tuning.

My 4-year old niece loves these new toys! She loves playing with her iPad, but my brother usually limits her screen time, so these toys are really great for both of them! My niece enjoys playing with the ipad while my brother is not worried about her spending too much time with her iPad since she is learning her numbers and playing with real toys at the same time. She got it and couldn't stop playing for hours with all three apps! I really recommend this as a gift for 4-5 year old kids!

I bought this for my son, who is 4. He's a smart boy (of course what father would not say this:) but he does seem to reach for daddy's iPad a bit too much for me playing games that turn him into a zombie. I stopped fighting him on using my iPad, but I do limit his usage to about 15 minutes a day. I also have a small folder where I showed him where HIS apps are and we download mostly very educational games. I downloaded all the Tiggly apps (they have about 10, I think) and he really loves playing with them. They are his favorite. So, I decided to buy these toys so he could use the apps with them and after a few weeks, Tiggly is still his favorite toy.

You won't go wrong with this great educational toy that will be loved by kids. This has become a favorite and is great for long trips in the car. We want more games and more challenges.

Very disappointed. I am a techie and have been unable to get the game working with the kids ipad so far. There is no help on their website, just bragging. Awfully spent 30 dollars, I deply regret it.

Very disappointed with the math set. I've tried it on my ipad mini and samsung galaxy tablet and in both cases it doesn't respond. My 3 year gets so frustrated and throws them across the room.

Similar to the counting system they use in my sons school. Helps with the abstract concept of math, especially for kids with autism.

Really disappointed. Our Tiggly Shapes are great and we haven't had any problems with them. First set of Tiggly Maths didn't work so returned them and asked for another set. Just packaged that set up for collection as the three and the five don't work. Can play the apps without the counters so will continue to do so. Delivery of both sets was quicker than originally stated. Easy to return although annoyed that the shop where I dropped off the first set is no longer an option.

Super disappointed... it didnt ever work properly, the number lines didn't register at all with the iPad, I tried two iPads! I didn't get round to returning it but wish I had as it's sat on the shelf completely in-useable!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. The game is amazing but the tiggly counts that were sent were faulty. I contacted tiggly direct and the were amazing and sent me a replacement set. Buy direct from tiggly online to ensure you get a working set !!!!!!!!!!! THE GAME IS FANTASTIC!!!!
