Now that it is up, I like it.
I bought this to mount my Samsung UN40H6350. Fitting the bracket to the back of this TV was a little tricky because the back of the TV is not "flat" and the spacers provided by Sanus don't fit perfectly in this configuration. Also, make sure you plug the power cord into the TV back before you mount the bracket because once you put the bracket on, you won't have free access to the power port. Like all "first time" applications, this took me way too long to finish. Now that I have done it once, they next time will take one hour or less. I did have problems with getting the unit to fold properly. One of the pivots just would not move unless I applied extreme force. I called Sanus customer service and they worked me through the problem over the phone. They had the same mount set up in their office and the rep was talking to me while he was "hands on" the unit. The pivot I am referring to: it has an allen head bolt on the top and the bottom of pivot. The top pivot requires a common allen wrench size, but the bottom requires a really big allen size. Loosen those two and the pivot will work easily although freeing up that bottom allen nut took considerable force. Maybe it was too highly torqued and/or cross-threaded at the factory ?

Well Made / Easy Installation
This mount is very well made. It installs easily and all hardware is included. I purchased this for a 32" Samsung and found the mount weighs almost twice as much as the TV set. Installation is even outlined on the Sanus website in more detail if you have any questions and their phone tech support is excellent. What I didn't like is the fact that the centerline of the mount is not the center of how the TV sits. In other words, if you are expecting the TV to be centered with the installation bracket, you are mistaken, the set is offset in either direction, depending on which side you swing the arm. I was able to rectify that by only using 2 bolts, rather that the 4 recommended, to affix the TV to the mounting bracket. This is NOT A RECOMMENDED PROCEDURE but my set is light and I was not concerned that the TV would break free or be too heavy and break free from the mount back plate. In my installation between two windows, if the set was not centered it would look awkward.

Sutrdy and Slim
4 Stars for an excellent design and quality materials and workmanship. Minus one star since the very large mounting plate was somewhat too large for my 36" flatscreen with the 200X200 mounting hole pattern. I ended up making a simple "unauthorized" modification by drilling 2 additional holes so that I could offset the mount lower on the TV. That way, the bracket would not show from behind over the top of the TV when viewed from the front mounted position. I could have just cut unused portion of the bracket shorter on the top instead, but it's a heavy guage plate and it would have looked messy (I'm a perfectionist). The mounting plate 'ears' on the bottom almost completely cover the power and signal cable mounting area on the back as well. This is not obvious in the literature, but necessitates connecting these cables before mounting the bracket to the TV. If you later discover you need longer cables or need to disconnect the TV end of the cables for some reason, you need to dismount the bracket. Summary: Excellent product- especially for the 42" class or larger TV's.

Great product - not so good for my TV
I was using this unit for a Samsung 40" 6400, I called Sanus for model that would work, you can also do this online. TV manufacturers evidently have a series of standardized hole patterns to mount stands like this - this was a 400 x 400. The plate of the stand had that, as well as many other hole patterns - the problem was the plate covered 2 jack locations and the electrical plug in. Sanus offers plastic extensions in the kit but that still didn't work. I could have drilled new holes and cut some of the plate but that would compromise the warranty if nothing else. The unit itself is a piece of engineering ingenuity. I returned the item with no problems.

Works as advertised
I bought this to mount our new Samsung 46" LED TV in the family room. I folds flat and has no trouble supporting the appliance. None of the bolts provided were the right length to attach the TV to the mount, so I had to make a visit to the local hardware store. Also, the large mounting surface interferes with the composite video inputs (we don't yet have HDMI, which would not pose a connection problem), so I had to find some right angle RCA adapters if I wanted the mount to fold flat. We are very pleased with the quality and design of this wall mount and would recommend it.

VERY solid
Used this for a 49 inch tv. Contractor said it was an easy install. It does not stick out far from the wall at all. Just what we wanted.

Great TV Mount!!!
Easy installation. Great mechanics. I mounted it along with a ultra thin LED TV (1.3") into a 6" deep wall cabinet that was custom built into the wall. The TV sits flush in the cabinet for direct viewing or I can pull it out to nearly a 90 degree angle so it can be seen from either side of the cabinet. I recommend this product.

A great Mount
works as advertised and as others have testified. I have two of them and they work smoothly and have adjustment capability that adds to a professional installation. There are many others cheaper.

Gut gemachte Wandhalterung
