Respectable product for a good price.
This a good buy for the price. I use it extensively. Just this week I ran through a 35 foot 1" conduit with 2 electrical elbows that all ready had three 10 ga wires in it. With a little wire lube it went fine. It is not perfect but it has a good balance between rigid and flexible. It has reasonable strength and "rigidity". Not as rigid as a steel tape so it can't go through heavily congested pipe but it will go around a normal electrical 90 degree elbow without trouble. It will not go through a 90 degree plumbing elbow but I don't know of anything that will so if you buy this with reasonable expectations it will work reasonably well. If you want the performance of a $100 commercial rigid fish tape, go spend $100. If you want the performance of a $13 fish tape, this is great. It has two brass threaded ends and two tips - one is a rigid eye and the other is an eye attached to a flexible wire (good for going through electrical elbows).

Decent for the price.
To start off with I do have a background in electrical and communication wiring. This is not my profession however. I purchased this specifically for running cat 6 wire thru conduit that is already installed. I also have been looking to add something like this to the tool box and I'm very happy with the purchase. I have only run into small issues with this on runs that are almost fifty feet in length with many bends. Other than those it is pretty easy to work with. I gave it four stars as there is no containment for the product when not in use or while deploying it and that can lead to a little bit of a pain.

It's not as good as fiberglass fish tape reels
It's not as good as fiberglass fish tape reels, but it's nice that it can be extended by screwing on another length of this nylon fish tape.

It was not up to the task.
Purchased to use as a pusher for a borescope camera in 2" PVC piping where steel tape was too stiff to negotiate elbows. This tape was too flimsy to push and has no method of rotating to clear edges and corners. It's basically just a coil of extra heavy string trimmer line with brass ends crimped on. I'll keep it in in case I find a use for it (or run out of trimmer line).

Holds it's bends from coiling
The problem with this product is that it retains the turns from being coiled. It's useless unless you fish through something very smooth and just large enough for the fish tape.

Four Stars
Very good quality and inexpensive. I pulled cable for 8 camera surveillance system through the attic with it.

Very useful in conduit
In open space this wont work but in a conduit especially sealtight tjis works great very flexible

Works great and much easier to use than the metal one ...
Not to much to say about a fish tape...lol I ordered this to tape to my USB Boroscope camera to inspect my underground pool lines and chimney. Works great and much easier to use than the metal one I have for walls.
