Manos Del UruguaySilk Blend Fino - 100gm 404 Watered Silk, Hand Dyed Knitting Yarn

I couldn't find this yarn in the color I needed anywhere else so I was relieved to find it on Amazon at a relatively good price. Also I received it in a couple of days.

Love this yarn. The color is gorgeous and so soft.

I ordered the Porcelain colorway, which is supposed to have a beautiful Greenish blue color in it. What I received is a butter/tan color with ivory. Yarn is gorgeous and I needed it immediately. So will keep it and order another Skein in porcelain and hope that the 2nd one has the blue/green color in it.

This yarn is so soft and the colors are beautiful. I can't wait to make a scarf from this yarn!

I like one of the previous reviews received my yarn but this has all tan colors. Nothing like the selling picture with pastel green, gold or blues. Very disappointed. This was not cheap. Not worth sending back if others have received the wrong color. Won’t be ordering again.

Sehr schöne und weiche Wolle. Lässt sich gut stricken. Nur das Aufwickeln zur Rolle ist etwas mühsam.

Das Garn wirkt etwas heller und weniger bunt als auf dem Bild. Aber Garn und Farbe sind einfach so schön, daß ich dennoch fünf Sterne gebe.Das Garn ist einlagig, also nicht gezwirnt. Es ist dennoch stabil, fusselt aber etwas. Für Socken eignet sich das zwar nicht, aber für z. B. Lace kann das ein Vorteil sein, da die feinen Muster sich so beim ersten Waschen stabilisieren, indem die Maschen ganz leicht aneinander fusseln und dann damit später in Form bleiben. Daher nach dem ersten Waschen unbedingt Spannen oder zumindest liegend in Form gezogen trocknen.Für Anfänger wenig geeignet, da das leichte Fusseln ein Aufräufeln erschwert.
