KICKER 47TRTP82 Down-Firing 8" CompRT 2-Ohm Enclosure

I hunted high and low for a quality sub to fit the very small cargo area in my 05 Jeep Wrangler Sport (two-door TJ). It needed to sound good and put out enough volume and bass to be heard and felt with the top down and doors off at up to 70MPH. This not only fits perfectly in the tiny cargo area, but it sounds amazing and provides outstanding lows even without the benefit of a sealed trunk. Even with the Jeep top completely removed this little sub puts out a lot of low end, and you can feel it in in the seats. It is capable of way more volume than I need or would be comfortable listening to.I power it with 300 watts RMS and cross this sub over at 150hz via my aftermarket head unit with outstanding results. Plenty of volume, clarity, and bass across many musical genres. In addition to the outstanding sonic performance, the down-firing design allows me to place cargo items on top of the sub without any concern of damage. What a great design. I cannot believe this is only an 8" sub!

This is the solution for a Jeep TJ! Takes up little space behind the back seat and fits like a glove. Paired with a Kicker CX400.1 amp for 300W and a 2 ohm load. I still have plenty of room for tools and recovery gear.

Works like a charm I got a Kicker cxa 300.1 amp running with this and I love the kick in it works extremely well however with the way my trunk sepreates from my vehicle I wish I bought the 12" version I wish this seller sold the 12" besides 8" because anywhere else wants an arm and leg , if your trunk isn't blocked off from the rest of your vehicle this is perfect

Installed in a Jeep. Got to say I'm impressed with the sound. Quality is very good at low and high volumes. Just follow the RMS specs. It's a good looking enclosure and takes up very little space. I recommend this to anyone looking for a small enclosure.
