Can you fit two of these in the same socket, one on top and one below?

Yes, you can fit two (one above one below) in a standard household socket. There is about 1/16 inch extra space :)

Does the switch have a label that says 'on/off' or is it printed on the switch? Thanks.

I prefer the brand with the lighted switch, so when in operation the toggle lights up red. SO much more convenient. For example: I keep a silent shoe dryer in the garage ....when I see the red light on the switch I know the dryer is in operation....otherwise I would have to bend down and physically touch the bars to know if it's turned on. For some applications (lights etc) it's apparent when it's "ON" so no biggie.

Thanks to emojis, I can't help but see a scared face in this outlet. Why does it look so scared!?

I have 2 of these and they work perfectly. very convenient. no worries at all. I think it is a coincidence that it looks lie a worried emoji.
