Works well but it's a nightmare to install
As many others have said, this is really difficult to install. 3 bolts/nuts going into preexisting holes should take 5 minutes at most. This easily took me an hour. The preinstalled bolts on the bracket are too short. Once you get them in place and add the pedal, the weight of the pedal works against you and pulls away from the bracket. This doesn't leave enough exposed bolt to actually put the washers and nut in place. Even if you weren't working blind because of the location, it would still be challenging. If they just made those bolts a 1/4 inch longer, it would still fit behind the support bar in the Jeep but would be so much easier to install. It also doesn't help that you have to install the pedal to the bracket before you complete the installation. instead of open holes for the 3 install spots, 3 welded on nuts so that you could attach it with after the brackets are in would be a huge improvement and would make it easier to adjust. I actually go lucky at first and had it on in about 20 min with the pedal in the middle position only to discover that that was to far a reach for me (I'm 5'10" and drive with my seat all the way back in case that helps others later). I needed to remove the whole thing to move the pedal and then couldn't get it back on because the front location makes it harder to reach the nuts and bolts. Once it's in and in the right place, it works nicely and is very sturdy, but a few small design tweaks could make this so much better.

Works good once installed.
Other reviews were correct, it isn't fun to install. There was 2 sided tape on my bracket which if it held properly it would have made it easier to install. In my case the tape didn't grip well. I couldn't find a clamp small enough but that would have worked. I found something the right size to wedge behind the bracket and that helped. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with the initial pedal location. I put off moving it for a few weeks. The second time I installed it was easier. It seems like the tape might now be working. I now have the dead pedal in the closest position to the seat. This makes it about even with the brake pedal, which is where I wanted it.

Required 'adjustment' to fit my Gladiator
A real challenge to install - even after viewing multiple YouTube videos (an absolute requirement).Pros: well made, it fits nicely and seems sturdy enough for what its used for. Really thick frame.Cons: really useless printed instructions (and something is required), and my dead pedal didn't fit my Gladiator without some adjustment. The mounting plate with integral bolts only fit one of the two pairs of holes in the cab frame - and they were not the ones needed to mount the dead pedal frame :( The holes matching the dead pedal were closer together than expected/supported. I had to bend the bolts toward each other at their farthest point from the four inch mounting bar on which they were attached to get them through - pounding away with a wooden mallet over a short piece of softwood. Luckily the dead pedal frame had oversized holes so it all worked.Oh, and the bolts on the mounting plate were a tad rough - I'm glad I tried the nuts on them, running them on and off a few times until they went on smoothly.Whew.

It was worth the effort to install.
Once it's in it is great. The metal is heavy duty and feels very solid when it is installed. As others have said, it is a pain to install. This is not a fault of the product, just a fact because of the tight space you have to work in. I'm 5'9" and the middle position works for me and seems to be about the same distance and angle as the gas pedal. One tip. you will drop washers and nuts several times as you are installing it. Remove the left side kick panel and keep a magnetic pickup tool handy or you can't retrieve the hardware (google "remove kick panel jeep JL" for a 1 minute video).

Fits perfect, very sturdy, don't listen to the others, its easy to install
I'm not sure why everyone is having problems with this. The bracket that goes behind the frame fit perfect. I bolted the foot pedal to the mount and then it slid right on the 2 bolts. Took maybe 5 minutes tops. The only issue I had was I went a little nuts on tightening it and broke the back bolt. No problem, popped it back out, welded in new grade 8 bolts and had it mounted back in place. Start to finish including welding on new bolts I didn't have half an hour in the whole project.Love the mount, very sturdy and makes driving way more comfortable2021 Gladiator

Jeep Gladiator, sturdy build, but difficult to install
For Jeep Gladiator 2020. Product is very sturdy, don’t think it will break. Installation was very difficult as the space under the steering wheel is compact and you are working in such a way that you have to wedge yourself under it while lying on your back. In retrospect, I might take off the plastic side panel to expose more of the bracket it is being attached to as it might make it a little easier, though not by much. For me, this product was worth the effort.

Good workmanship, but a pain to jnstall.
While it appears to be well built (only time will tell), it is a pain to install. I did a mockup to determine the pedal setting, there are three. Then I bolted the pedal to the mounting plate. The I placed the mounting bracket in place and used a small plastic clamp to hold it in place. It comes with tape but this didn't work too well. Once I got one bolt fastened I removed the clip and put on the other bolt. Tip, if your old with a bad back like me, find someone young and flexible, you're gonna spend a considerable amount of time twisted underneath the dashboard.

It's ok
I wish the petal was a few inches longer so it would extend down closer to the floor. I'll probably make a modification for that to happen. There are 3 different locations on the bracket so you can adjust the petal closer or further away. Pretty sturdy. Install was a pain due location and twisting body to get to where it bolts on. I'm 5'3", I can't imagine this being a easy install for a big man.
