Sold as a pack of 4 stakes enclosed in a skin pack. These heavy duty 10"L x 5/16" diameter stakes are comprised of a zinc coated galvanized nail which is resistant to corrosion and a one of a kind 3 point hook cleat made from high density polyethylene plastic. The 3 point hook cleat provides the best anchoring and tie off option available in stakes. Use for tent anchoring, gardening or landscape uses or to secure other outdoor structures. Sturdy stakes, but don't work as well in soft ground
I imagine that they would be perfect in hard ground as the point is really sharp, and would go right in.However, when trying to drive them into soft ground with a rubber mallet, they kept rolling around, making a funnel of a hole for themselves. FInally got them low enough into the ground to be useful. I was pounding them into dirt that had been mulched for about 35 years, so it's really soft.

Easy in Easy Out
Used all four of these spaced about a foot apart to try to straighten a not very large tree but the stakes did not hold well in moist soil unless they were hammered down so far that it was not possible to wrap the rope holding the tree trunk around the top of the stake. The soil was very wet and these probably would hold in drier soil, but I don't know if they would then hold in heavy rains.
