*Update 12/21/2020*Unfortunately I had to reconsider my five star for this product, only because of the price increase. I can no longer afford using this shampoo as they have raised the price so much in the past couple of years. It’s a shame because I I really like this shampoo. But there are other products out there that can do pretty much the same job for half the price. Sorry.*Update 11/24/2018* I am giving it 5 stars after using this for a long time. I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS SHAMPOO!So if you have been struggling with finding the right shampoo for years, that won’t leave your hair itchy and oily after 24 hours, this shampoo is for you. It really does what it says unlike some other products, and it smells great.. It also doesn’t dry out your hair and your hair will stlye very well after using it. And customer service is beyond excellent!I have been using this shampoo for a while and I am happy with it. I just wish his shampoo was less expensive. I think Tru Mortocan needs to offer this item in bulk or offer discounts on multiple item purchases; for people who use this all the time it is a big expense.

Well, first off - it says "Sulfate Free" on one side and then the second and third ingredients on the same label on the OTHER side are "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate," so... Take that as you will. I'm not exactly picky about the ingredients themselves, but when you say you're "Sulfate Free," you should actually be sulfate free.Apart from that, it's definitely going to dry you out. I've got ridiculously oily hair - I have to shampoo daily or I look like I haven't bathed in weeks - and I've tried MANY different shampoo options. After the first week or two I was really surprised; I could go a day or two without washing it! It was pretty sweet... until my scalp got dry as all heck. It got to the point where it was quite itchy, flaky and even cracking and bleeding in some areas from irritation. I immediately stopped and went back to Head and Shoulders (which has been my standby in case other stuff doesn't work) and let my scalp oil itself up again. Man. I'm still going to try and finish it, but there's no way I'm going to be using it on its own... After this bottle, I'm gonna keep looking for something else to try. It, uh, smells nice, though!

It did a great job. No more itchy oily dandruffy scalp. And it lasts.My only complaint is that it made my face and hands really dry.I have the scalp condition as described.(oily dandruffy scalp that itches)And this shampoo worked great.Better than any prescription I have tried.But the rest of my skin is pretty dry from the Accutain I was taking those years ago. It will be really hard on all your other skin if you’re like me and the rest of your body is sensitive to dryness.Other wise it’s great smelling. Smells like oranges. And will leave your hair and scalp not only feeling great but normal again.And if volume is your thing this shampoo does wonders.Great product!!!

For years I have suffered with oily hair. I was always embarrassed by it and as I entered my twenties, I started developing an extremely dry patch of skin at the base of my head, which itched and bled and was just a huge mess. This shampoo has quite literally changed the life of my hair. That dry patch is entirely gone and my hair has never felt so clean. I can even go a day or two without washing it! The only "negative" thing I will say about the product is that it does dry the hair itself (not your scalp) so you're definitely going to want to get the conditioner (or a conditioner), and really work it through your entire head (all the way down to the scalp), then leave that in for a minute or two while you wash the rest of yourself, then rinse it out. That'll keep the stiffness to a minimum. That being said, if you have thin hair like mine, you might enjoy the stiffness because it does add a little volume!

I love this shampoo and it is probably one of my favorite shampoos that I have ever used. I have very long/very thick/very oily hair. This is perfect for me. It really helps to reduce the oiliness of my hair and makes it smell beautiful. I love this shampoo and would definitely buy again. My only issue is the fact that this shampoo is this expensive for such a small bottle. Like I previously mentioned my hair is super long/super thick so I didn't get as many uses as I would have hoped out of this.

I have been using this shampoo for a couple of weeks now and it has definitely helped my hair. I have oily hair and can get away with only washing my hair every other day now. I will say that it does dry my hair out a bit so I just use a moisturizing conditioner on the bottom half of my hair.

We were at a loss trying to find a solution for my teenage daughters oily hair, scalp, and dandruff. We tried very expensive solutions from salons and those would only work for a few days then her oil & dandruff would be back. Using this shampoo, her oily hair was almost immediately solved after the very first washing. My daughter is almost through the first bottle of the shampoo and I am purchasing another bottle before she runs out. We have not noticed any dandruff either. Theres no way this was a coincidence - I’m 1000% certain it was the shampoo. I hope it works for you like it worked for her!

This shampoo is perfect for my fine and oily hair. I use a lot of dry shampoo as well as hairspray, so once or twice a week I will use this to help remove all of the built up product. It smells wonderful, and doesn't leave my hair feeling dry like other clarifying shampoos do. It also doesn't weigh down my hair, which is great because my hair really is fine.I'm also impressed with the effect it has on my scalp, because it does get itchy from the dry shampoo I use. It gets rid of the itching! I have recommended this product to several friends who have similar hair types/issues, and all of them have loved it as well. Definitely repurchasing.
