I like the product it does work.

I always keep a jar of Shingles Rescue on hand just in case I ever need it. It calms down shingles outbreak temporarily. A few months ago I learned my nephew (in his 40s) had a shingles outbreak around his neck. My daughter immediately ordered a jar to be sent to him (we were overseas at the time). When we returned, his wife told me that the minute she put that on his blisters, the pain stopped. She couldn't thank me enough. It is temporary relief, of course, but generally lasts quite a while. It can be applied as often as it is needed. My mother, years ago, found her only relief from postherpetic neuralgia by using this ointment. I've had a couple of other friends I've shared it with who also had good results. I even take it on trips just in case. Only down side is that it can stain your clothes. That, to me, is minor.

Saw me through the time I (and 5 other relatives) had shingles. When my friend at work gave me this information, I looked around my neighborhood for it. Finally found it at Whole Foods (they no longer carry it. I was so happy that I found it that I had my mom apply it to my back in the parking lot. I could not wait to get home. Oh what a relief. I even I told my doctor about it (she didn't know about this product. To me, it has no smell ( ok smells like clean water) and not greasy. Purchased 4 jars to send to the Philippines because my aunt has shingles. She is so happy. More comfortable now that it relieves the pain and she is on her way to recover.

This is the only thing that seemed to work for my husband. Only four stars because even then, it didn’t work all that well. That speaks more to how horribly the other stuff, like lidocaine, works.

It was purchased for my mother. A friend recommended it and the only place to purchase it was a small pharmacy in a small town about 25 miles away at $30.00 for one. So of course I check Amazon and find two for a little under $40.00, great buy. As for the product, pretty much as soon as I applied the, I call it salve, she had relief from the pain. I don't know that it helped clear up the scabbing sooner but it sure did help her tremendously.

Bought this for my father-in-law who was in quite a bit of pain. He said it burned initially but then it was an instant cooling sensation. Not sure how long the relief lasted and he had to take other things to ease the pain. This won’t solve anything but will bring some relief.

This works so good and so fast. It stopped the hurting within a few minutes. Could not believe how fast it worked
