Flame Toys - Devastator [Transformers], Furai Model Kit

This is a large, high quality, model kit. Medium difficulty to assemble with many small and fun parts. This is not for beginners but if you've done a model or two before you'll be able to get this done.The end result is impressive and larger then other model kits in the same series.I re-painted mine so the images in this review are slightly different than what you would get but the default coloring is very good as well.

This model is absolutely fabulous. It comes with pre-colored pieces, so if painting kits isn't your thing, then you are OK. However, like many, I prefer to paint my kits which tends to result in a nicer finish. That unfortunately is where the small small problem occurred for me as it added a small layer which made connecting some of the pieces difficult. Although, I do admit I could have made it easier on myself with some light filing. Either way though, this is a high quality model with tons of options to pose!

This is my 4th flame toys transformers model kit. Model looks great and has good articulation for posing. Will get more of these model kits to add to my transformers display.

Was very excited to see a Devastator model. Put it together this weekend and will say that after working on Bandai models, this one has some drawbacks.It is sturdy, and a good size. Lots of articulation.The connector pieces however are hard plastic, not soft. So putting in the tabs can be a struggle. Also the instruction is very brief and small. Could have been broken out to more steps with larger photos.Happy with final product, but not the journey to get there.

Disappointed because the sealed box was missing a piece, I'm at my desk barely starting the first step, then I come to find the piece H_20(a head piece) is nowhere to be found, I made sure to check between the other pieces, looked in the box and plastic wraps and found nothing.I don't have any interest in continuing this model kit that's not packed with all it's contents. I will request a replacement.Dont forget to check for all part.

Nice take on devestator

I ordered this for my grandsons 9 th birthday gift he absolutely loved it ..,I would recommend not getting for younger kids 9 and above only great quality..
