I wanted to have lights for my stairs and would have trouble hard wiring anything in so when I came across these they seemed the perfect solution.There are a lot of negative comments regarding the double sided tape - I invested in some LED channel with diffusers and so was sticking the LEDs to aluminium and they stuck on okay, maybe if it was on to wall or wood it might not be the case but the backing seemed pretty sticky to me, the sensor and control unit may need some better fixing but that won't be a problem.They were easy to install, I was able to cut them to size and they work perfectly, giving off just the right amount of light. I won't know how long the battery lasts but hopefully it will last a few months in which case that will be a result.Delivery was prompt and they

Hit and miss. I bought 2x 3m lights. One of them was good and it still works fine (even though it does not stick well to the wall, especially the end part of the tape). The other one worked for a second and never switched on again. I complained with the seller about the quality and the fact I received the two sets in different colours (one cold and one warm white) just to be told it was my fault I ordered them in the wrong colour (???). I still don't know how I can add 2 of the same units to the basket and magically change the colour for one of them. In any case, one set of lights does not work and it will go to the bin. Waste of money.

I bought these to illuminate our bathroom mirror as we couldn't afford a bigger light up mirror. So these light do a great job and look fantastic. The sensor I put it on the side facing the door way so it will light up as you walk in the room. It has 3 brightness settings and will stay on for 30 seconds (yes I timed it) not had to charge the battery yet and we have had it for a couple weeks. The adhesive strip sticks really well just make sure you clean the surface really well. Overall really happy with them

Arrived today and found the sticky side more tacky than sticky. Seriously a fly could land on this and still fly away..... Ah well time for Plan B. So I attached double sided sticky tape which was much better than the useless sticky stuff used initially With 3 metres of lights this did take some time trimming each side down carefully. By the time I was done I'd almost grown a full beard.Now time to attach to my banister rail and hope all the effort was worth it. 3 metres didn't quite reach the 13 steps but it was enough to get by.Okay so at this stage I'm still not sure this is going to be a perminant feature or a passing fad. The quality or lack of it will determine that. So I attached the base unit with elastic bands for now. Yesssss I know it looks ugly at the moment. But if I really like it and the quality proves its worth then it will be more perminantly fitted to the wall.Okay so you've probably read the other reviews about how long these lights stay on for when used in Motion Detection or Auto mode.Well for me they stayed on for 35 seconds with the lights on the medium setting which was more than adequate. I timed it a couple of times. Now 35 seconds isn't a lot to do a lot of things admittantly. But if I can't walk up 13 steps in 35 seconds then something is wrong.Update I'm at the top of the stairs and waiting for the..... Oh there it goes. DarknessSo in conclusion I do like this product. The lack of adhesion was a pain. But it does does look good when it's on.It's a shame they don't make a longer version with sensors at either end and minutes worth of on time on the sensor rather than 35 seconds ( Hint hint you clever inventers out there ) .. But until someone events that. This will do for now

Very easy to install and works perfectly. The adhesive sticks to most surfaces, I had to improvise on my ceramic basin but everywhere else was fine. The sensor is really good, lights come on as the door opens. So far I am really happy with purchase,good value for money.I will update review going forward if I have any issues.

Wanted for under kitchen wall cupboards. The adhesive was not the best but hubby sorted it eventually. Easy to trim. Like timer button for switching off after no motion sensed. Easy to charge but is located near a USB socket so you may want to consider how you are charging this. Sensor picks up within about meter and a half or 2 metres in the dead of night. Very happy and will be ordering more for other places in the house.

Superbly Bright, Effortless installation (even against bare wood) with self adhesive strips (supplied).These (I purchased 2) are an excellent way of lighting a dark area.... I have these attached to the interior roof of my shed (see images)

Arrived on time (thank you Amazon), but the product is poorly made and uses cheap materials. The battery pack feels brittle and the batteries are not held in place very well and pop out as you are installing them. The pack is held in place with 3m tape and can be removed using the velcro tape.The led strip is waterproof but has been fixed with cheap double sided tape. This caused the strip to fall down after 6 hours.I will now have to purchase either 3M tape or led strip holders.For the purchase price I expected much more.I DO NOT recommend this item as I am sure a similar quality item can found at poundland or similar stores.
