I received a one ounce sample of this from Birchbox last year and fell in love immediately. The full size is kind of pricey but I just had to have more. I can't say exactly why the fragrance is so addictive, but it really is. For me, it's an awesome pick-me-up - vaguely tingly and refreshing. It smells like mint and coffee. Imagine a nice dark cup of java with a splash of crème de menthe and you pretty much have the idea. So if that doesn't sound appealing, then you should probably avoid. The liquid itself is a bit on the thin side which is probably the only thing keeping it from earning a full five stars, but other than that, it's pretty perfect.I have a strong suspicion this is one of those products that people will either love or absolutely loathe.I am firmly in the former category.

So here's something I did not expect: If you mix the smell of coffee and the smell of mint then it kind of smells a bit like chocolate. It's a nice smell, as well.As for the mint in it, I think it could use a little more. Then again, I'm used to using Dr. Bonner's peppermint soap. That stuff really makes your skin tingle. This stuff does it as well, but it's not as pronounced.As for the other review saying this needs to be thicker? I'd put this somewhere between real maple syrup and honey. It's very thick and does not run at all. You can pour about a quarter's size amount onto your hand, turn it sideways, and it will pretty much stay there.One thing I like about this vs. something like Dr. Bonner's is that this does not dry out my skin. It's not harsh but does give a good clean.I'm taking a star away because I feel like a bit more mint wouldn't go amiss, but that's a personal thing. I also wish it was a bit cheaper but for something like this the price is understandable.

It is a really good alternative to soap. Smells refreshing and actually lasts a long time. Yes a little expensive.

great body wash for the coffee lover. I really enjoyed this and "babied" it so it would last me a long time. I saved it as a treat because it was so expensive. Great christmas gift for a hard to buy for coffee lover like myself. Have not repurchased due to cost.

I used this soap for the first time today and am so happy I ordered it. The smell is soooo soothing. It made my skin feel refreshed and clean. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I got more then I was hopeing for. The soap is a dark brown and it had the same consistancy as any other soaps I have used. I just need to go out and find a pump for the bottle.

I remember opening a bottle of Wash with Joe in the shower and being so overwhelmed by the coffee scent that I did not think it would be necessary to drink any coffee that morning, the smell alone was enough to wake me up. It worked into a pleasant tan lather but rinsed off cleanly without staining me, my loofah, the tub, or shower curtain.That was 2009. Fast forward to 2012 when I decided to treat a friend and bought a bottle for myself. I was greatly disappointed to pop the cap and inhale a ghastly minty stench mixed with coffee. I can barely detect the coffee fragrance I loved so much. This should be called "Wash with Starbucks Java Mint Mocha Frappucino" or some other such nonsense, because it definitely doesn't smell of coffee anymore.

I originally got their as a gift for my wife and now I love it just as much as she does. It has a great coffee mint smell but it also doesn't stay with you all day.

My skin feels so good, however the bottle is not that big. There is a cooling over the skin and the smell is nice too.
