UNDERSIZED DOWEL PINS
Who does the measurement on these dowels?Whatever system they are using is not very accurate.they are 1/16in. undersized!That means that I have to drill a size smaller then shave off extra wood to get the snug fit.Each dowel requires 10 minutes /dowel, My project has 50 dowels. Do the math.i would go into town and buy some at the hardware store but it is an hour drive .What a sloppy bit of merchandising.And BTW, I tried different drill bits, even a Forester bit and the results were identical.
