Backyard Life Gear Front Tray Shelf for Blackstone Griddle (for 28-inch Blackstone Griddle)

Very thin and flimsy metal, and not packed well for shipping.When it first arrived I opened it to find that the metal tray was bent slightly and the magnet strip was broken where the mounting screws go through. I contacted amazon for a replacement which they sent quickly. When the 2nd one arrived the metal tray was so bent and smashed it was unusable, but I was at least able to salvage the magnet strip and make a whole set.One of the reasons I bought this was because of the hooks for hanging grill utensils. The hooks themselves are good quality but the slots in the tray where the hooks drop into place are much too big. It makes the hooks sit so loose and sloppy that I can’t grab a utensil without knocking the hook out onto the ground unless I’m being super careful. Bottom line, look for something better quality than this.

I'll give it a 5 star review because it is a nice addition to the griddle but two notes... there should be additional packing material in its shipping box so it doesn't bounce around in the box. Ours came with a sort bent corner, which was easy to fix, but we shouldn't have had to do that. Also, the edges are a little on the sharp side... not cut you if you touch it sharp but still sorta sharp.I wish I had gotten this earlier, it works well for storing things while grilling, and even has 4 easily removed/moved hooks for storing utensils on it. We do love the magnet, its very strong.

Received it yesterday and installed it when I got home from work. Took about 5-10 minutes to install. So easy!!! Love the convenience, the storage while griddling, and the functionality. Hooks can be moved in seconds and the magnet is strong and secure. Excellent product!

I bought this as a gift for my wife's nephew. He loves it. He installed it as soon as he got it and sent me a picture. It looks pretty good. He said he had no trouble putting it on. He would recommend it.

The screws stripped and had to drill out. Luckily I had replacement screws. I loved this product. Reviews said it was thin metal but not at all true! Looks great. The hooks do fall out to easy, this is the only drawback. I have neodymium magnets on the inside to hold them in place.

Very functional, and looks really sharp. Matches my lid!
