This is book about linen going native - a pity that the author didn't bring linen up to the 21st century. It's an absolutely wonderful fabric, but this book tends to make linen appear as a out-of-date and hard fabric. Luckily, there are many interior magazines which regularly uses linen in their photo shoots.

Helen says: It is refreshing to see linen as a traditional fabric reclaimed from modern interpretations, not that there is anything wrong with the modern, it's just that forgetting the skills and ideas of the past of this wonderful material would be sad to say the least.

This is a nice book, I love linen but did not find a lot of items I would make. But that does not mean someone else would not enjoy. There are nice things here so before you turn down check out.
