This package contains a number of items that are useful to a photographer.The filters are the most often used: UV Haze, circular polarizing and Florescent/Daylight. All are part of the Vivitar Series One collection and come in a nice case. I probably won't use the FLD filter as that was used to shoot daylight film under florescent lights. With Digital cameras, there's a setting in the camera for that.The cleaning kit is complete and is your standard inexpensive kit. Great to have as a spare.The lens-keeper is something I need as I'm often knocking the cap off my lens. On my EF 28-135 IS USM lens (the reason for buying this kit), I keep the elastic strap at the back of the lens. This tension helps reduce lens creep when I'm carrying the camera around with the cap on it.Now to the hood. The quality is very good, and it is nice to be able to rotate the hood if you have a lens where the front section rotates during focusing. However, it isn't a bayonet type hood, but a screw-in. For a screw-in, it is a good design. However, I prefer the bayonet type as I can reverse it and put it back on the lens, keeping both together in the bag, or on the lens when I'm using the lens but don't need the hood.All in all, it's a pretty good value for the money.
