Paradise 6-Cotton Triangle Bird Swing, Small

After getting the medium size for our GCC and seeing him enjoy his so much we purchased this small triangle for our parrotlet and it is the perfect size for him! Medium was perfect for our GCC. They both took right to the swings. On both swings we did remove the dangle toy from the middle so the birds had more head room and nothing bumping them since these are hanging inside their cages and not on a play stand, plenty of other toys in the cage made this better for a perch swing than a toy in our case. Removing the toy allows them to relax and nap on this if they so choose which they both have now or to play on this which they do all the time! Good buy!

I think these swings are my birds favorite thing. On them most of the day.I have all three sizes, but the small size is too small for a parakeet. The small size would be okay for a small finch. Parakeet needs a medium (8") Quaker sized bird needs a large (12") in my opinion, since I've been buying them for many years.

After eyeing triangle rope swings on and off for a couple of years, I finally ordered this swing for my six budgies' flight cage (they live in the Petco Designer Mink Brown Parrot Cage). I was pleased that the swing I received is actually blue and green, rather than red and green as the image shows - it's much prettier. The chain links are thick, smooth and sturdy, and do appear to be stainless steel. My only small complaint is that the non-stainless metal rod that runs through the center of the rope is exposed a bit at the corners - it would be nice if there was enough rope material to cover it, or if something else was placed over the corners to cover that. I have to keep an eye on my little chewers to make sure they don't chew that bit of exposed metal, as it could be toxic. I also trimmed the tassel as short as I could to prevent little toes from getting entangled in it. Everything else about this swing is great, and the budgies adore it! It took them maybe a day to get used to it and start hopping on, and now every time I enter the room I see at least one bird sitting on it. I've seen as many as four on it at a time, and these are birds that don't like to share any other swing. ;) It gives them some exercise as well as a soft place for their feet. My babies are happy, I'm happy.

My Blue and Gold loves this swing!! I think this is my second purchase of this product. He's fascinated with it. It's put together in a great manor and he's a tough guy so it definitely gets tossed around from time to time. He enjoys it so much though. I love catching him actually swinging on it, so adorable. He'll get in the middle and just push him self back and fourth and he is just having a blast. Saying "whoo" "whoo hoo" this is a great purchase for all parrots. It's so entertaining. He also loves tossing it around from time to time in his cage. I recommend buying this! It's an awesome price and an awesome product. I know one thing my bird hasn't been dissatisfied!

My cute budgies love this swing. When I first put it in, one of them was scared but the other got right on it....actually sleeps on it every night! Then the other one got over being scared after a day or 2 and he loves it too.

My cockatiel seems to like it, this is strong and can hold him, he is still getting used to it, doesn't stay too long, prefers the long hanging bungee rope, really loves that!. However, I have seen him sitting on this and messing with the threads, but not sleeping on it, yet...to each his own! I initially saw this in a pet store, and I asked the lady if they had anymore and she said the store stopped selling them, didn't understand why. So, I came here and was happy to find it. Thank you!!

Considering the amount of use this swing gets from my Conure (in addition to frequent swinging, she also employs it as her night time sleeping perch), it has stood up very well for rope construction. I always replace items made of rope when they begin to become seriously frayed because of possible safety issues with claws becoming caught, and I've replaced this swing for her on the average of every eight or nine months - which, for an item made of rope that gets serious abuse, is pretty darn good.So..... it lasts a long time, is reasonably priced and, best of all, the bird loves it. Can't ask for more than that!

I've had this for quite a while now and my parakeets still won't use it. It's cute but not very parakeet-friendly. It's certainly big enough and very stout. They love their cheap-o metal swing and fight over it but won't get on this one at all. I had read other reviews that said the same thing but I was willing to give it a try anyway. Maybe there is some chemical on it that can't be detected by humans but the birds smell? Who knows. I will probably replace it with another cheaper metal one. Ironically, if I were a bird I would hop on this so I don't know what the problem is.

Die drei Ketten sind sehr stabil und die einzelnen Kettenglieder sind derart, dass sich die Wellis weder mit dem Schnabel, noch mit den Krallen darin verfangen können. Sie haben zudem einen sehr guten Halt! Der Karabiner, der verschraubbar ist, macht das Aufhängen sehr leicht.Beim Aufhängen muss man darauf achten, dass die drei Ketten von innen nach oben zusammen laufen (siehe Werbefoto), damit die drei Sitzmöglichkeiten außen liegen. Ich habe die Schaukel außerhalb des Käfigs an die Decke gehängt; sie passt aber auch locker in einen großen Käfig.

Die Triangel ist ein gut verarbeitetes Produkt. Für Nymphensittiche ist sie jedoch zu klein. Der Nymphensittich kann schlecht aufrecht auf den Stangen sitzen, weil die Ketten, die der Halterung dienen, zu kurz sind. Beim Heraufspringen des Nymphensittichs, berührt er die Ketten mit den Flügeln und erschreckt sich. Daher habe ich die Triangel unseren Wellensittichen gegeben. Die finden es prima und von der Größe von Wellensittich und Triangel eher zusammenpassend.
