Champtek Bluetooth V3.0 Hands-Free Multipoint Speakerphone

This is a very nice Bluetooth unit. For the size of the unit (4.5 x 1.7) the speaker is quite large and gives a good sound. I am very glad I bought it and would do so again. It even has a mute button to silence the mic but I have not tried that feature yet.It as two minor points:(1) When you turn the unit on it announces, in a human voice, that the unit has powered on. That is actually a nice feature but the problem is that the announcement is at full volume regardless of the volume setting. The same is true of the power off announcement. Actual operating volume can be set as desired.(2) Plugging the USB cable (supplied) into my computer did not fully charge the unit (the charge light stayed on after charging over night.) That might just be my computer since the car charger that came with the unit charged it fully as did one of my other chargers. This may not be an issue but I mention it in the interest of full disclosure. Also, the connector on the Bluetooth unit is a MINI USB connector, not the Micro connector that most new phones take.One nice feature that my other Bluetooth devices don't include is that along with the chirp that indicates initial connection (most devices do that) the unit also chirps when it LOOSES connection. If you carry the device with you in the house while the phone stays on a charger it warns you when you wander out of range. Nice touch.A very nice unit. Even in spite of the two minor issues I give it 5 stars.

I would have rated this bluetooth a 5 but the unit does not ever finish a charge cycle. I had it plugged in for two days and It never stopped charging. It works okay and needs recharging about every few days, but the best and funnest part is the voice that states "power on" "the bluetooth is ready to pair" " the bluetooth has connected successfully" All in a bad asian/english accent. Cracks me up everytime I hear it,

Manual is printed in way too small of font size to be readable by an old man like me. Had to scan it, and blow the font size up 200% in order to see what I was supposed to be reading. Works as advertised, just a little hard to undestand at times too. For the bucks, a good buy.

Works ok with LG and Samsung phones.Language is a little bit tricky (instead of "call" I hear "cause") but maybe its just me.It looks really good, and works just fine.I also think he volume is dependant on how much battery you have.

So it paired fine with my iPhone 5 & 6, but when I try calling folks they say they can't hear me. I've tried multiple times while driving and still no luck. Save your money and just get a Bluetooth headset for driving.

I had one of thiws type that had solar cells to recharge the battery. It was on my windshield and was always charged.This one plugs into a cigarette lighter receptacle, and it a bit of a nuisance having a recharge cable dangling to the windshield .It works very well otherwise. The pairing is easier and the audio is very clear.

Brilliant! Terrific value for when I'm in the "other car" that doesn't have Bluetooth connectability. Callers tell me I'm actually easier to hear than my way more expensive "in ear" system.
