And Animals Too!
This book has more than just the flowers that are found in Australia, it has animals! The Echidna is one that I am going to try to do more in 3D because being only in 2D, it looks like it has a ridge up its back rather than the points all around the body (not under the body!) It looks more like a porcupine, that we have here, so I want to see if I can do a little tweaking and make it have those points come out of the picture toward the viewer. I may make a mess of it, but Helen Walter has at least given a place to begin on the project.

It basically says things like make 4 loose coils and pinch them
The finished product of all examples look cheaply made and not something I would sell in a shop or online store. The beads of glue used to stick the quilled flowers down are very visible and a bit distracting. The tutorial part of each flower is quite short. It basically says things like make 4 loose coils and pinch them. Attach them to a stem. Not many step by step pictures. But overall there are a lot of flowers and you can get inspiration for other projects.

A happy Quiller
This a great book for beginning quillers or even seasoned quillers. I teach quilling at several senior living homes, and theylove quilling flowers and the flowers in this book are unique and beautiful as well as easy and fun for us all to do. The instructionsgiven in this book are one of the easiest I've found to follow. Great book, realy great.
