In this second-chance romance by a USA Today โbestselling author, a coffee shop owner's latest customer is a man she'd prefer to leave in the past. Mia Burton thinks she's seen the last of Ethan Blackโthe man who haunts her heart. She's wanted to forget him, but can you really dismiss from your mind the most magnificent man you've ever met? He's a painful reminder of her troubled past and she needs him to stay just a memory. But Ethan's returned in all his very real glory! Mia wonders what his motive is, because it's clear he'll do whatever it takes to win her back, including whisking her off to his luxury villa in the South of France! Review: Amazing! - This book is great! I read it all in one sitting. Could not put it down. Well written and great story. Review: Excellent book but too many typos - An excellent story. A strong heroine. She made a decision and stuck to it as long as possible. I applaud her efforts to take charge of her life and protect herself. Many heroines are portrayed as weak-willed and easily persuaded - often victims of the hero. We usually have to find ways to redeem an often abusive (at least verbally) hero. Not true in this story. All of the players in this novel were victims of circumstance so the HEA was well deserved. My only concern about this ebook was the amount of spelling errors. To read a book by an accomplished writer with so many errors is truly untenable. Harlequin should be thoroughly embarrassed. I'm tempted to request a refund. I would have rated this book 5 stars (and I don't hand out 5 stars lightly) if not for the numerous typos.

A FAMILY DRAMA
Mia walked out on her father and his new wife in disgust five years ago, when they married a few short months after the suicide of her own mother. Now five years later she runs and owns her own coffee shop, she was able to do this with the money left to her by her grandmother. Then out of the blue Ethan her stepmothers son is standing in front of her, wanting to talk. Mia is less than pleased to see Ethan again, five years ago they had been in a relationship but all that ended when she walked out. Ethan wants Mia to see her father as he has suffered a heart attack. But Mia is reluctant. She still believes that Ethan and his mother were only interested in her fathers company, she believed thats why Ethan had romanced her, so as to get his foot in the door at Burton Industries, and to Mia the proof of that was Grace was now married to her father and Ethan was the CEO of Burton industries her father's company. This was a emotional read but not a totally satisfying one. The heroine might have believed to have good reason to be angry when things first happened but she certainly retained all of her anger over the five years, but her father and his new wife plus Ethan were more to blame in my opinion as they had not told Mia the truth about what happened allowing her to believe a lie all these years, and I did not feel that the heroes anger at Mia was totally justified either. All in all this was a story of conflicting emotions. It was well written as you would expect from this author. It's just that I prefer something a little more romantic with a bit less angst.
